Colour me shocked.

I'm almost certain we'll see a 40 year-anniversary tour of AFD in 2027. Maybe a tour in between. Don't expect anything on the "new" music front.

Saw them yesterday in Gelsenkirchen. Absolutely amazing. Had a grin from ear to ear through the whole set and it sounded terrific. I hope they do another round in Europe next year, as I'm left wanting more.

Haha, we're both lucky!! It'll be my third time Gilmour, of whom I have a much stronger preference than Roger Waters. The Wall tour was incredible, but saw him another tour after that and his "message" was insufferable...

It's sad Zeppelin didn't tour after that show, more people should have been able to enjoy that chance.

No, he lipsync'd/mimed the lyric "Like boom" very convincingly into the microphone during their first song "Artillery", but nothing was heard. It was very blatant.

Oof, they are playing along to a tape and within the first song I noticed the singer miming a lyric in the microphone that was not heard.... Other songs did seem to be live though. 

Great great great band. Saw them live last summer at a festival and seeing them in April in a club. I'm sure they'll explode a bit more in Europe to festival main stages.

Saw Viagra Boys live this year, amazing. Saw Idles twice last year, even better. We're getting some agression back in rock music.

Sorry to be a hype killer, but this is Guns N' Roses. I'll believe it when I've actually heard it myself, despite this confirmation. Would not surprise me in the least for the first person to place this on a turntable only to find out it's a live recorded version of Sweet Child of Mine from god knows where.

I would love to see Adam Lambert and Queen, but the tickets are super expensive and it seems every band or musician I love is coming to Dallas this year. It's crazy. I've already spent over $1000 on concerts. 

I've seen Queen with Adam Lambert twice and cannot recommend them enough. If you haven't seen them yet, do it.

Seen all acts multiple times, even seeing some this year. Only act that really interests me is AC/DC, as I thought they were done for. Hopefully this is not just a one-off, as I'm not traveling from Europe and paying an extortionate amount to be able to be present at this.

Depends on the band and the prices. I have done for some bands, such as Guns N' Roses in Las Vegas before Coachella.

Having also grown up with a narcissistic mother, one of those lines threw me off of your thesis:

"Its harder to live with the truth about you
Than to live with the lies about me"

A true narcissist will never introspect and find the fault within themself. So, finding the truth about oneself as a narcissist is very rare. Anyway, I hope you went full no-contact as I did. Being around somebody that is mentally ill will make (and keep) you mentally ill.

Axl's voice, while raspy, sounds destroyed. Still everything as a whole sounds amazing.

Pyro come with a lot of regulations. Those regulations also differ from country to country. Besides that, there also needs to be a dedicated pyrotechnician present. So, a lot of hassle for a little bit is maybe the feeling.
