  1. This performance deserves to be on every page of this thread.

It floors me every time I watch it. It's also fitting that such a jaw dropping performance happened at a tribute for one of the greatest performers of all time.

wow, I had in memory that that performance was much better, but to it's actually one of the worst performances in this thread  it's close to boring, not the outro, that's part is never boring but before.. too slow, too alike zero the hero with "sabbath".. static drumming from matt, too high in the mix, guitars too low

dublin and inland invasion kicked fawrkin ass, as did the VMA's, madness everywhere, ritz had madness as well, awesome

  2. I thought you said you were unemployed. Do the "unemployment benefit society fund" (What we in Swedish would call A-kassa :xmassrudolph:) give you that much money?

i got the tickets for copenhagen live for around 150kr, haven't paid my friend for sonisphere yet, i'm still to buy the ticket for metaltown but will probably do it in a week or so and i'm great at saving money :P

  3. Sweden Rock, Metaltown and Sonisphere.. All in Sweden

add Copenhagen Live to that list, just bought tickets at a great price. I'm gonna see rammstein twice in less than 20 days!

  4. Very cool band. Seen them live multiple times.

They fuckin slay in a small hot, sweaty bar!

LAst time I saw them they we're playing a very small venue and they had the Backyard Babies opening up. Very nice concert. I didn't like the 'Never Too Loud'-album though. Hope the new one is better.

    Backyard Babies too...excellent!!

it's funny.. a couple of years ago danko jones opened for backyard babies, 2 awesome bands

never too loud was alrite IMO but i'm sure the new album will be better with Matt DeMatteo back producing

  5. Can't say I love them.

Can't even say I can tolerate them to be honest.

    then I'll say it

I love them and kicks ass live, might see them the 29th

  6. A co-headlining tour with an older rock act like Motley Crue or Van Halen would sell alot more tickets. The problem would be the egos involved. I do think they should grab another act to help with tickets in the U.S. Marilyn Manson or the newly reformed Hole could make for an interesting show. Don't think Axl would do anything with Jane's now that Duff is in the band. Not that he has anything against Duff, but reunion rumors would start and there's always the chance one of Duff's good buddies may come to a a show for support.

axl and courtney love? yeah that'll happen

alice in chains is the best mentioned band yet

  7. saw him in 07, he had throat problems but it was still an amazing time to see one of my all time biggest heroes. the pressure in the crowd towards the stage was so big that i sometimes could lift my feet and kinda "float" in the air. there wasn't hardly any footspace below me so when i had my feet on the ground they got trampled on like hell, I had cuts on my big toes for 6 months from all the people standing on them from this particular show

also.. the new song kicks fucking ass

  8. lol, I read favorite Zappa songs when I entered the thread and was wondering why everybody was listing zeppelin songs

never really got into them, and they have so many records to get into so I'll just stick to sabbath
