The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus is a GNR fan.

I sat with him at a GNR show a number of years ago and went to an after-party with him. (This was before Walking Dead started).

He knew the classic GNR music, so it wouldn't surprise me if he's friends with Slash.

It will be interesting to hear what Slash has to say.

All studio quality versions. Have these been out a long time? Never heard any of you mention them before.

Totally agreed. A superb live performance. Love Axl's gesture at the Maybe we'd be better off without you anyway Dizzy on the tambourine at the end makes teh whole clip a bit less awesome though.

I think the lyrics fit the music perfectly and I was amazed at how the song developed, because of the fact that Slash brought in the song first and Axl wrote the lyrics later. The music and lyrics go so well together, I can't imagine any other lyrics to the music and vice versa. This is just the perfect collaboration between Slash and Axl imo and, to me at least, it proves that they bring (or sadly, brought) out the best in each other musically.

I think Axl brings out the best in most any musician.

It'd be much less of an issue if DJ had half of the skill bucket does.

I find all of bucketheads solo work boring. Whatever he added to gnr was fine with me. When ashba gets his chance it will probly be fine to. Technical skill doesnt mean it sounds worth a shit.

I'd listen to a bucket solo record 1000 times before a Sixx AM record, but that's your prerogative.

I understand. I grew up in the 80's so I expect rock dudes to look like ashba. I like his classic rock sound. Chinese Democracy is my favorite gnr album, so whatever bucket had to do with it was great in my opinion. But lots of people here slam Ashba for his look and I just dont get why. The crazy outfits are part of it if you see them live. I enjoyed looking at bucket perform with gnr to.It just seems he didnt catch as much shit on this forum for his look.

I just got the 3d bluray. AXS tv did not do this concert justice. The bluray is damn good!!! Great job rockfuel!!! Thanks to Axl and the rest of the GNR crew. You have one satisfied fan. Havent got to check out 3d yet because my bluray player and tv are not 3d .....but someday.

I really like the chinese album. Get some good quality earbuds and you can hear all the effort Axl put in to it. And recently I found Live in Tokyo. I dont know what year it was but Axl was dead on that night. Maybe it was 2010 , I dont know havent looked it up. He mentioned Christmas in the concert and sang a silly version of rhinestone cowboy before patience. Made me laugh hearing that.

They should have a hologram of young Axl with full rasp.

Why ask this question? Have you been following gnr since 2002? The man is warped in the head. Blames people for his problems. He is his own problem and doesnt even know it. Makes great music though.
