Guys, it's time to let go and move on. When Axl was 38 years old and had fire, it was excited to dream about what Chinese Democracy could have been. I LOVE that album, but it came out 6 years too late and without Bucket to market it. There is nothing big coming. No new album. Nothing.

Regardless, create a GNR playlist, put the best tunes on it, and you'll see that this band has the greatest rock n roll songs ever. But they are done. Guns was an explosive band that was bound to explode (implode) sooner or later. Axl is a genius but impossible to work for. He should just drop all of the tracks from the Chinese D era and live out his life knowing he's the greatest frontman ever and maybe every once in a while do a surprise gig.

He's a man of mystery. I private fellow. And this nostalgia tour gave us many years of awesome shows. But it's over. And that's not a bad thing.

I've always said this...the end of Prostitute is Axl's farewell song. And what a farewell it is...music fades out to nothing...enjoy it. Let go.

Axl doesn't want us to ever get new Guns N Roses music.

Someone offered $1,000 for Atlas Shrugged and was denied (not sure I believe this)

Look, this thread got way out of hand. Just thought it would be the right time for someone to leak us something. Make the summer more exciting. Give us some new hope of more music down the road. That's all.

Asking for new music is pointless? Go back to your other threads bitch and discuss Axl's underwear size. In the meantime, ALL OF US want a leak and maybe, just maybe, if we stopped with all of the bullshit threads and just kept demanding something they would deliver something for us. But instead all we do is look to the past and discuss the most inane topics imaginable. Last time I checked, this thread had more activity than the other garbage people are discussing.

Don't get me started on Team Brazil. If they really cared about Axl and the band they would HIRE professionals to run the band. Now more than ever you need marketing to remain relevant...let's see...the world's greatest rock band could only manage to get one track into the credits of a b-movie?

One thing and one thing only got Chinese Democracy released....MONEY. Best Buy paid something like $14 million for it. Anyone got $13,999, 500.00 lying around? Add that to my $500 and we're all set

Guys let me get something straight. I'm not looking for someone to leak the vault. Or fuck over the band in any way shape or form. I'm just asking for someone to share some new GNR music with us. Doesn't even have to be a full track. Just a section. A solo. A primordial Axl scream. Something.

The band has access to Chinese D era tracks. But again. I think the right thing to do would be for Fernando to say, "Hey Axl, how about we give the fans who have been waiting so patiently 60 seconds of something unheard?" What harm would that do? It would go such a long way to create a more positive atmosphere here. It would also give us something new to discuss besides the same old garbage.

If I had a leak I would leak it. My inside info was that things were gonna happen this year. Then I heard nothing would happen. What has happened is this: songs have been recorded years ago. Is it too much to hear one of them?

I just think there's so much energy on this forum misdirected. If people really got together and tried different creative ways to get a new track released, I bet we could be successful.

But we shouldn't even have to do this. The band should give us something at least once a year. Again, I'm not asking for an album, just something during the down years that says thanks for being our fans, here's something to make the wait a little less painful.

I know it's never been the band's style but maybe now is the time to start treating the fans better.

Wasn't Going Down a song without Axl on vocals? That doesn't count.

Of course I want an full album, but that is not happening this year. What I am asking for is something to hold us over! A little appetizer to the main course people.

Also, I'm not that obsessed anymore. It's fun writing in my old Kaneda style. Life is actually pretty awesome and I just want a new GN'R track when i pick up my Hellcat in August.

Look, we're the biggest fans and we deserve something. We're not asking for a lot. Just a slice of the pie. Not even a whole slice. Surely they can leak something small for us. And I'm really calling on the band members to stop being pussies and share something with us. They are grown men in their 50's and they act like they can't share a little of the secret sauce with us. No fans deserve just a little bit more than GNR fans. Come on guys!

I love you guys and reading pointless thread after pointless thread makes me wonder why you amazing guys even bother? This is a band we all love and we deserve to be discussing the MUSIC. Not the speculation of music. It's like 1998 all over again.

We need a leak. Just something. 30 Seconds, A minute. A full track. Whatever it is. Something MUSICAL for us to talk about and get excited about. I think we can all agree that ANY track with Axl and Co on it would excite us to no end. We've all accepted the fact that we're not going to get something that sounds AFD again, and that's ok. I'm willing to be we all love and appreciate Chinese D for what it was.

2-3 albums worth of material recorded during that era. WHERE THE HELL ARE THEY? Just give us something team Brazil. Again, doesn't have to be a full tune, just something. A damn chorus. A solo. Something!

Many of you know me and I'm not one to just sit around and wait year after year for music. I'd love to help new GNR get some of its relevance back by inking deals / partnerships with this band. Every time I see a summer blockbuster movie with no track from Guns it depresses me.

But hey...they can do what they want. But for heaven's sake, will somebody, anybody out there SHARE SOMETHING WITH US!!!!

All these band members trading files...How about one of you have a heart and stop waiting for the boss to tell you you can be a man...how about one of you actually act like a rebel rock star and give us a freaking morsel?

My favorite time waiting for Chinese D was around 2006. Why? Because us DIEHARDS had a few leaked tracks and nobody else did. People were oblivious. But the fans had it. The fans could rock out. The fans had something to go on.

We need that now, in 2015. Chinese Democracy was 7 years ago! 7 years without a single new sound from GNR. That needs to end this year. Who's gonna help us fans out? Will it be you Ashba? Or how about you Dizzy? Fortus? Or better yet...Axl! Come on man...What's a 30 second clip going to do? I'll donate the money to charity and you will at least have given us something! And when it's ready, we're all gonna buy it, love it and see you tour. But this year, more than most, we really need just a little bit more to hang on. Thanks! Let's do this!

While everyone is waiting for the next album (not holding breath), thought it would be cool to host a little Guns N Roses hangout, party at the arcade. Thinking sometime in July. Any of you guys close by or traveling to the city anytime this summer. Always fun to hang with people who appreciate this band...Post here if you'd be down...

you know guys, I used to spend every day on this forum for years. the wait for Chinese Democracy marked about a 1/4 of my life. Sure it was frustrating, but of man, the high moments were epic highs. Seeing them perform Live at the VMAs...man, that had me jumping up and down for hours. The incredible performance at MSG where Bucket just destroyed it! (in a good way).

Then that horrible 4 year wait for nothing. But we had leaks. We had hope. And we had faith in Axl. There was still so much mystery then. So many unknowns.

Looking back now, the time to strike would have been in 2006 (Axl looked his best then and had that fire back)...He should have had Slash replace bucket and taken over the world. Didn't happen.

But that's cool...I'm happy we got the album out (even if the mix was poor)...

I'm happy to have seen Guns many many times in concert.

As much as we'd like, we can't change the way the last 20 years unfolded. But look, the only life we should be trying to change and improve is our own. Anyone who's spent too much time worried about Guns needs to find more hobbies. Why? There's just not enough news or reason to follow this band day to day.

Guns fans are the best and most dedicated fans in history. I hope we all hear the rest of the Chinese D era music soon. Much love...CK

Kaneda had a legit source (Bumble) but it turned out not to happen. But it might.

My source was not Ron...I've known Ron since 2008 and have never shared any of our conversations on any forum or with anyone.

I'm still shocked by some of the anti-Ron sentiment that goes around. Ron did more for GNR fans than anyone else. Can you blame the guy for being frustrated? These guys were asked to be the new GNR and then never allowed to truly write a new history for GNR. Whole thing made no sense.

Reunion talks are strong as always, but how can any of us believe them. What's sad about a reunion tour is this: it means 20 years were wasted for nothing. Imagine all of the great tunes GNR would have released had Axl/Slash and Co. kept making music. On the plus side, they never burnt out like the Stones or just made so many songs nobody cared anymore (U2)...but still, lots of unfulfilled potential.

Not sure what the plans were. Sorry.
