  1. Reminds me of some of the 2002 performances.

It wasn't bad but calling it great is a stretch. It was an average performance and the outro sounded meh. I agree with the sentiment stated about the "I've been walking the streets at night," line; that was the best part of the whole song. It's a shame he couldn't deliver that rasp for the remainder of the song.

no you don't understand, he is conserving his voice, he gets better as the tour progresses, he has slimmed down, even though he looks even more out of shape. and loses his breath easily. Turn off sarcasm! mode

I was replying to you until I saw the "sarcasm off" remark. Almost got me. sweatdrop.gif

HAHA  sorry for the scare. Thats what happens when a lot of people are "actually" trying to cover up for him.

  3. It looks like Axl is wearing the same exact outfit at each show.

That seems a little weird. I can see maybe busting out that same jacket and hat if he's going for a signature look or something. But why would you wear the same pants and t-shirt at every show?

Maybe they are filming each show and Axl/Beta want him to look the same so at the end of the tour they can pick out all the highlights and package it as a live performance dvd?

I sure hope to god they don't, I would hate to have this Axl voice on a DVD to show the world lol. Why can't they just take highlights from 2010-2011 :headbang:

  4. ...Then can you guys post a video of yourself singing it?

    lets go.

obviously no one here heard him try and sing YCBM in the 90's... bunch of kids with keyboards. Where's your videos? This could be fun!

I'm genuinely looking forward to hearing these vocals. I'm not a being a dick. I'm very curious now to hear them! Signing off for the night but please leave some links for everyone to check out, i'll be back to listen to them tomorrow.

Just stop man, you know he sounds like crap right now. I love Axl and GNR, but I don't pretend to think he sounds good when he "clearly" doesn't.

We are talking about Axl singing in this year and time, not what he sounded like in the 90's or 00's, or how we sing it, which I still don't get what that has to do with it lol, but good try I guess.

  5. Mickey Mouse Could Be Mine...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ahXCHuDIE4

    Whoa.

2:15 onwards, worst YCBM ive ever heard

FORGET about that! listen to 4:38 !!!!!! OMG!!!!!!

HOLY CRAP! this is bad :nervous:

I've not posted here in a while.. but...

Axl sounds fine on that. Especially after singing a lot of high songs that night. Do me a favour.. all you perfectionists.. get your iphones, androids or whatever out, point it at your face and sing You Could Be Mine entirely, start to finish. Then f_cking post it for us all to hear and tear apart. Then maybe, only then will you think about the fact that Axl has been singing like this since the 80's. He's still a f_ckload better than most singers out there. His voice has effectively been through hell for years and he can still sing better than you keyboard warriors. That in itself is amazing to me. Personally if i was at that concert i would not be moaning like you lot. Even now Axl can still rock whilst other people have came and f_cking went.

    Get a grip ffs......

Dude what are you smoking, we aren't asking for perfection, or him to be thee greatest singer ever at his age. We want it to "at the least" sound decent, which at this point, just doesn't even sound anywhere passable.

Now seriously answer this, do you think that vid of YCBM, Axl actually sounds good?

  6. C'mon guys, you all are saying like it was a horrible end, but to me was nothing like that, and I believe that if you were there you won't be saying this. It's a youtube video.

They did a mistake in the end, but it's rock n roll, do you want a perfect show, axl singing like 25 years ago? Go hear the records then!

At this point I would take 2002 mickey mouse over this.

Yeah. At least in 02' there were new songs and Axls voice could be excused a little bit because he'd been out of the loop for awhile. But now? What's the excuse?

Yea exactly, I mean I wasn't the biggest fan of that 2002 voice, but it was passable.

    Please stop.

Maybe you missed it, but we weren't complaining about the mistake, it was the whole squealing action going on. No one said we want a perfect show, but at least put some effort into your vocals. At this point I would take 2002 mickey mouse over this.

  8. I think it all surrounds confidence. You see him in 2010 showing his face and showing some aggression. same with 2006 and 80s and 90s. Now he seems to lack self confidence and aggression which may be delaying inspiration in his voice. I still believe Axl has the greatest rock n roll voice nowadays and there is no point in bashing him further.

i wouldn't say anybody is bashing him. his voice is bad and people can't ignore this fact and many of them express it around here.

    +99

Yea I never get why people think we are "hating" on him when we criticize his voice. I love Axl, but we are being honest, and its not just an opinion, its fact, his voice isn't where it could be.

Like I said before its either his voice or weight, people are trying to blindly defend those issues. "Oh he is definitely getting thinner", "oh its that dam youtube messing with how he sounds "

  9. He hasn't lost shit. When he bothers to put enough effort in when he wants to, it's just as good as ever.

I do agree that he hasn't lost it, but the effort put into keeping his voice in shape is not there. You always hear glimpses of his rasp, and usually always is spot on for the first three songs of the set, but after that he flatlines into mickey. I don't think 2006 / 2010 voice was just a fluke, he could easily just get back to that with getting in better shape.

  10. It seems that the 'voice' is slowly improving.... From last night show.

    lol improving

    Awful and weak vocals bro.

Yea hearing people say his voice is improving is just as funny as them saying he is losing weight :rofl-lol:
