About 24 hrs ago I was browsing this forum and a post was up saying new 2012 gnr song featuring Izzy. There were 5 replies and a posted song. I got pretty excited but the Internet is shit in the hotel I am in at the moment and my kids were going berserk so I went and put them to bed. I returned about 20 mins later all excoted to see what was going on and the post was gone/ deleted. Did anyone else see this?

I think Axl sounds phenomenal when he wants too. It seems during some songs he just mails it in and doesnt put full effort. How can you sound so atrocious on rq ycbm til and then pull out epic performances of Civil War Nightrain Maddy Patience Jungle etc. I just dont get it

Rocket Queen, You Could Be Mine, and This I Love are some of the hardest GN'R songs to sing, that's how. They don't require the aggression that Nightrain, Jungle, etc. need, but they're up in the stratosphere for the vocals the entire time.

And for the record, I think last night is one of the worst versions of Jungle I've heard from this tour.

The 2nd half or rq i could see him havin trouble with the range but theres no need for mickey during the 1st half of the song.

Why do songs like rocket queen and you could be mine sound like a horrendous cover but civil war and nightrain and songs like that sound fuckin out of this world? i just dont get it at all and its so frustrating cuz he shows over n over he can do it with ease. Rocket queen is almost unlistenable especially on the la stream.

I really like listening to his playing is he underrated as a pianist or do i know absolutely nothing?

Is there any way to edit the backing vocals out of the cd rip from the stream? those vocals ruin a flawless performance.

Watchin some clips from the stream and im amazed at the energy and performance from axl. For all the talk about rasp this n that this proves he can push the rasp through anytime he damn well pleases! jungle and when everybodys fightin for the promise land from civil war just plain fuckin rock. Axl can sound like 88-93 axl anytime he wants. He really is just trying to preserve his voice for the long tour. WOW thanks for an unbelieveable show.

As for Tommy, he's ALWAYS grouchy. He's also generally drunk. I've met him a couple times and the last thing he wants to do is chat with fans. I sat at a hotel bar with him once and we were the only one's there and he basically told me he wanted to drink alone. Eventually, he conceded and he ends up venting to me. Strange times. After three whisky's, he was out of there. Good times!
