MTV VMA/Rock in Rio's Rock AM Ring in 06 is the only one that came across well and even some performances there were not up to axl's standards. Is it possible the mixing at these proshot shows is just absolutely awful?

Let me start by saying I love the way his voice sounds these days. The lows are still the same even the mid range hasnt changed. My question is when he goes high like the ending of estranged why does it sound so thin sometimes? Has he just lost the rasp through the years? Or does he hold back on it sometimes to protect his voice over a long tour? I mean if he threw just a tad bit of rasp into the higher sections of songs there would be no complaints at all about his voice. It would be exactly vintage axl to the t.

Good im glad you enjoy watching your favorite musician squander the very last little bit of time he has left to perform at this level. I think its real lame that other GNR "fans" and i use that term loosely would hoard a song or w.e from people like myself who have followed this band since the 80s. Just like everything else in this world its just a sorry cash grab. Axl should do the noble thing for once n just put it on this board himself as a token of appreciation for many years of support!
