It's by default.
There you go - answering a question doesn't hurt now does it...? That was ALL you had to say in the beginning.
Since you were the only member who didn't understand this but now know that Polls goes in the Don't Damn Me Section, can we close this case?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I was the only member with the sense to ask. Sorry, I'm not a computer-forum geek like you & I don't know what is there by default and what isn't...!
Here's the story (simplified)
- I see a "poll" option in "GNR Discussion & News".
- I use it and start a poll.
- It gets moved.
- I ask "whats the point in having polls in Discussion & News if they just get moved?" ( a fair question in my book)
- You insult me.
Nice, Jack.

bungle are genius, you, quite obviously, are not.
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
"Genius" is so subjective. Although, I agree, I am not. I don't think you are either.

anyway, slagging off 'novelty' and you list a bon jovi album.
Insinuating that Bon Jovi is a 'novelty'...? You are wrong there.
And, regarding your funny "Q Top 100" comment, I cannot stand those lists either. However, it is no coincidence that the same albums appear regularly in the top-10 of all of them.
And, I'd rather listen to "Dad" music than something that sounds like a cat being choked (see Mr. Bungle).
-
For good music, that lasts, and doesn't need arty, cutting-edge novelty value:
The Beatles - Rubber Soul
Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
Or other good one's:
Bon Jovi - Crossroad
Nirvana - Bleach
REM - Automatic For The People
-
Ricky Martin

Probably a little UK - orientated.
Love Will Tear Us Apart - Joy Division
The Immigrant Song - Led Zeppelin
Negative Creep - Nirvana
Bodies - Sex Pistols
Tomorrow Never Knows - The Beatles
My Michelle - Guns N Roses
Blue Monday - New Order
Hellelujah - Happy Mondays
Open Up - Leftfield & Lydon
No Good [start the Dance] - Prodigy
Gimme Shelter - Rolling Stones
A Day In The Life - The Beatles
Sweet Child O Mine - Guns N' Roses
Imagine - John Lennon
All Apologies - Nirvana [unplugged]

DONT DAMN ME
Dedicated to GUNS N ROSES online polls <---
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Right, so what "Polls" exactly should we be making in "News & Discussion" then...? (Since that has a "Poll" option)
Off topic - I think your moderation is poor, Jack99. You close way too many threads, too quickly and you throw your weight around like you own the place. I can think of a lot of members that should have your position.

Why don't you have an "Audio" subforum and a "Video" subforum.
You could do it on the same page, just one above the other.
I think that would be cool.

But he's a right winged as they come. Skinhead fascist
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I wouldn't class him as a "skinhead". He's just very bald.
Technically, I suppose thats the same thing. But if I had such a receeding hairline, I'd probably shave it all off too.

Mariah Carey - Fantasy!
Great tune. Check it out now!

The Strokes 2nd album.
Great record. Should have done better.

Smells Like Teen Spirit

The second Strokes album. Why did this bomb? It's great...!

EDIT: I used to be THE Beatles fan in the forum ... Until Axl Rose Child got obsessed. Kinda funny.
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I've been obsessed with The Beatles for a very long time...
Just, I changed my avatar & sig.

First of all Sgt. Peppers is the best Beatles album.
I just can't understand this viewpoint.
I don't think this album is ANYWHERE NEAR as good as Revolver or Rubber Soul. Sure, it was "challenging" in its day, but it doesn't have the great songs that those two albums possess. In my opinion, only "Lonely Hearts Club Band" and "A Day In The Life" are great songs on Sgt Pepper. Pepper is one of my least favourite Beatles albums.
On a side note: my favourite Beatles album ever is their first Capitol album from the US, "Meet The Beatles". Every single song is great. In fact, its probably my favourite album of all time.
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
there's your answer tumbleweed
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
lol i already knew hes not a huge sgt pepper fan thats why i said that, it was a joke
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Can I clarify something:
Although, Sgt. Pepper is one of my least favourite Beatles albums, I most certainly still am a 'huge fan'...!
I love the record. I just love about eight Beatles albums more...
-
Dude, there are waay more Beatles albums considered their best.
Well, not in the UK.
Every "Greatest Album" list I read has these two albums in or around the top 10. With Sgt. Pepper slightly behind.

Nope.
When I asked "Jack99" when we should use "polls" in "Discussion & News", he informed me that we shouldn't ever use them there.
