There's a couple other good bands playing the same day as GNR, like Dirty Honey and Jerry Cantrell...
Yeah. Pretty psyched to see Cantrell. Also, Bush honestly. Not a huge fan or anything but as a 90s guy it'll be interesting seeing them.

Yeah. Since SiriusXM is a radio platform I would assume audio.

Hi gang. Just wanted to let y'all know that there's a special "Rockville" station on SXM starting this Thursday. So, there's a good chance the GNR set will be streaming there.
Im actually going to this show myself. My kid moved to FL about a year and a half ago so we head down there a lot from MN. We planned this trip so the kid and I can drive to Daytona for the show. Pretty psyched for it. I've seen them many, many times in several forms but this'll be the first time taking the kid.

I remember being glued the MTV watching Tabitha Soren report on it. Then I was all worried my Minneapolis show the next month would be cancelled because of it etc...
Yup. And then it was postponed. It really sucked. I was in high school and the guy that was supposed to go with couldnt because his parents wouldnt let him miss school when it was changed from summer to September.

I wonder if new WokeAxl regrets naming a song after an Ayn Rand novel.

Dude that whole situation is ridiculous. Did you see Brooklyn Bazaar's 'apology'? I love that venue, I've gone to shows there and had fun but that apology was so completely unnecessary. No one locked the doors and forced people to listen to his set. Are people that fragile that they can't make their own decisions anymore?
The whole thing is ridiculous. Gomez and crew have built something so great in such a short period of time.

I wonder how new woke Duff feels about appearing on GAS when they are getting so much shit for booking Louis CK at Skankfest last weekend.

Throw me in the list of forum members attending. I'll be in Pit1. My 8th show and haven't seen them since Vegas 2011.

Just FYI, the Jim and Sam Show on Faction Talk had some pretty good discussion about the show last night. They are replayed later in the day and you can listen on demand if you have the app.

The lack of GA tickets is my main reason for not attending any of these shows. I've weighed the pros and cons and I would have to drive 8 hours for my closest show. It's just not cost effective especially if I can't stand and move around.

I will say this about him. It's about time a millionaire in his 50's dresses a little better for a big performance than just grabbing an old tshirt from his hamper.

Hey guys. Not sure if you remember me, but I used to get a lot of inside info that I would post here and on HTGTH. It was always 100% accurate.
Anyway, I just got a secret fax from "Bill, Saul, and Mike" that says the following:
"This hype is ridiculous. April Fools jokes are never funny. We're not performing anywhere tonight. We're too busy in the studio with our guest vocalist Dolly."

That's not what a caveat is.

I've got 8 years experience podcasting. If anyone seriously does want to do this keep me updated.

Yes. You can usually watch a 3D BlueRay in regular 2D.
-
Nice that they finally replied to my multiple requests for clarification on that.
-
I ask again: HOW CAM A DVD BE IN 3D???
-
What the hell??? Are we all just ignoring the fact that this supposed company putting this out is claiming that it is a 3D DVD with zero explanation how that will work? Is this a 3D DVD that comes with the shitty old school red and blue cardboard glasses? Or is this a Blue Ray which can be a regular 3D (SBS perhaps) release?
Sorry...I'm calling shenanigans. I've brought this up on the facebook page for this supposed production and get no reply.

Well, I travelled from Minnesota for last night specifically.
What a shit show. Saw literally two very short performances: Agnostic Front and Jerry Cantrell. Both were awesome and everyone was getting way into them before being cut short after less than a half dozen songs. The AF thing wasn't too bad because most people went into the stadium and it kind of turned into a party for the long break. After Cantrell we just walked over to Target and bought warm beer and hung out in the car for over two hours. There was a long line to get back in and eventually security just said screw it and opened the gates without even checking for wristbands. We had a great spot at the stage where GNR was setting up. Looked like it was happening, all the gear was being set. Assumed it was going to be a pretty short set with the later scheduled start time. Eventually the weather delay announcement popped up again to a chorus of boos. A LOT of people stayed and plenty of trash started getting thrown. A cop ran his lights and siren on his cycle and at that point we all started filing out. That's when it was officially cancelled for the night. The escape was no picnic with with the lousy weather. Also, a nasty accident on 4 delayed our drive back by 45 minutes.
With the ridiculous pricing ($30 parking, $12 Buds) I don't think we're going to drive back up there today (we're in Orlando now). I like the 3 headliners quite a bit today but it's just not worth the risk. I doubt NIN and maybe even Pumpkins will play. Plus, I never got the notice that I'm allowed in today with my Saturday armband that everyone else seems to be getting.
