Guns N Roses is on the trending now feature on yahoo. I was hoping it was something new but it was just the festival gig we already know about.

NO HOPE FOR ANYMORE US DATES I GUESS IN 2010!!!! Here is a quote from one article: "Guns N' Roses have announced their only 2010 U.S. show and their first U.S. concert appearance in four years"

I read a few weeks back the EVERYONE that is a statium act are having a very hard time selling tickets here in the US execpt a few(they only said about 3 band/artist). They went on to say that promoters just are not going to take the risk of lossing even more money on these large acts in big places. It also stated than the smaller venues are doing really good with acts that are willing to take a step back so to speak and play in smaller places. Whick makes sense to me. Down econemy no money for seats exspecially if they are not close up. And that was one of the major concerns of the concert goers is having to pay so much for noise bleeds and even when they discount them most people just stayed at home because of not being close up.

I would rather pay more and go to a concert in a smaller venue than pay a little less and get shitty seats.

I have heard CD, Better, TWAT and Sorry a bunch of times. As of late only Better and TWAT. That was with my local radio station, on XM I have heard basicaly the whole thing.

If the larger venue WAS sould out then they should do 2 shows in the smaller one.

CD is far from brilliant - after hearing cd; You know (or at least think) that axl was not the entire driving force behind the first couple of Guns records.

There is NO possible way CD could sell as much as AFD different time and by this a mean letts face it one reason AFD sold so many copies was most people bought it on tape or record format first the cd was just starting to catch on and when it did most people bought it in cd format and inflated the sales numbers for albums like AFD and Back in Black just to name a couple.

CD still would not sell like AFD even with a major media change right now just a different time in music.

I am going to catch alot of flack for this but bands today need another media change to survive. By this a mean something secure and not hackable it can be and will be done one day. It has too or quallity new music will just fade away like it has over the last several years. All the record companies are banking on now a days is a sure thing. Just image if piracy was a problem when GNR came out now, we wouldn't even have a forum for them because the record company would have waited on the album to take off and also ponder this how many GNR type bands have we missed because of piracy. I burn cd's too but if they cut me off and would be back out buying more music than I do now.

CD was made or rather the songs on it with the hardcore fans in mind that should be able to grasp what this record is about.

If anyone here doesn't get they should set down and give it your total attention from start to finish with knowing what you know about all the stuff that we know went on behind seens and I am sure there is a ton more we have no clue about which I think is partly because some of it still on going or can't be talked about by either side.

We all know Axl is a very private person and this is JMHO but he didn't want to whine about it in public. Do we here any rants about it? NO and we all know Axl loves to have on stage rants about things that effect him.

Don't get me wrong by my statement Axl himself also to blame for the mess leading up to CD. Hell Prositute is an apology from Axl to the fans, at least that is the feel it gives me. There are so many song on CD that bring out alot of emontion in me and some of them I did NOT like at first but after LISTENING to them, the words and tone of the songs it made me get it and by that I mean what the song is POSSIBLILY getting at from Axl's point of veiw and what it brings out it me for my own self. To me if you can't get some sort of meaning from a song wheather it be by this band or that band it is just noise.

I hope THIS formation of the band goes on to make a few more records and I feel that they will shine when and if it ever happens.

I would love to see a St. Louis (most likely not happen), Memphis, Nashville or Little Rock gig. Just one of them please because I am not close to anywhere else.

But I will say if they are smart they will have a 20 or so date US tour at only MAJOR cities like LA, New York ect...... and have all sell out to make it look like they back on top by selling out all dates. Which is what they should have done in 02 and 06. But that will leave alot of fans out in cold for a GNR

The point is, Axl looks funny. I actually laughed when I saw him. His hair is parted and he looks like he has a dirty sanchez.

I was listening to a local radio station about 30 mins ago and they said they were going to playing a new song from a very big rock band and said the band is a legend and that it was a new release song. He also stated that it didn't need any hype so he wasn't going to hype it up too much just said to stay tuned. It could be GNR or Metallica. I hope it is GNR.

How do we know we have heard half the new album. Maybe CD isn't the new album! It was told a few years back that the new GNR album would have a bonus disk of about 7-10 songs. I think this is the case but I am sure no one will beleive this. The "leak" if that is what you want to call it was no leak it was from uncle Axl to build up hype and he knows how to use the press and now the internet to get the job done.

As close of a wrap that has been around this whole project that all the sudden we have leaks along with Axl being seen about here lately. Also the mods and all the higher up here alouded these songs to be posted for a while when they already had word not to post anything IRS related. I like these songs but I don't think they are best uncle Axl has in store for us.

May release with a small 15-20 venue US tour to cities they know will sell out to rekindle intrest in the band(which is what they should have done in 2002). Then off to an oversease leg then back to america. Oh and RIR6.
