Yeah Comerica seems like a better summer spot, but Ford Field is better views unless u get on the field.

Jungle is a great opener but it's hard as hell to open with that note. Maybe it would be easier to open with ISO for Axl's voice.

Just thought I'd see if anyone has heard of anything, the show is next week and often a place for reunions or classic bands to start promoting. Anyone think there is a chance this could be the place?

Coachella has streamed in previous years via YouTube...I believe the whole festival all day coverage.

Just because it's on Appetite doesn't make it a good song.

Think About You is not a good song in my opinion and I honestly wouldn't want to hear it live. Same goes for So Fine and probably Shotgun Blues.

I'd love to see anything else though.

I think the 2002 live versions of Think About You were pretty great. Lyrically it's some of the best, musically it's just ok.

I'm still waiting for someone with any artistic skills to take me up on my suggestion of creating a banner. Granted it will be hung from section 210 and 218 but if it's big enough,they just might see it! It should say MYGNRFORUM and then a song that there is a realistic chance of them playing like Dead Horse. I'm in Row B both nights, I don't think it'll be hard to hang and it won't block anyone's view.

I doubt they are gonna do anything not rehearsed that early. Out ta Get Me or My Michelle, those kinda ones maybe.

I'm hoping for a tight 2 hour hit packed show. They can bring out some more obscure stuff down the line. Don't try and pull off anything crazy the first nights. The press will be looking for anyway to rip this apart. Let's get the good reviews now so we get the world tour and many more chances to see them, and possibly some new music somewhere in the future.

Maybe a weird question about the openers: does anyone think they would go on before the ticketed time of 9:30? I only ask because 9:30 seems like a weird time. I guess maybe its for honesty, but I would feel if he plans to get on stage at 9:30, the ticket would say 8, or 8:30 or even 9. 9:30 seems like you wouldn't have an opener go on then, THEN have the band go on at 11. I'd be fine with it, but that is like exactly what Slash hated. Waiting till 11 to play. I could understand him being ok with 10 at the latest.

So either I could see an opener going on at 8, despite the ticket saying 9:30 (maybe just some local band so even if people are there it wasn't difficult for them?), or no opener at all and the band intends to go on somewhere around 9:30. I just don't think you get a ticket time of 9:30, an opener at that time, THEN the band. That does seem too weird. Why have the opener go on SO late?

Normally Vegas likes to have events later so people have time to linger around and gamble. Never seen an opener unless it's a local band go on before printed time on ticket. My guess no chance they play before 11.

Shitty Spirit is like $275 I didn't think that was bad. I was more freaked about hotels on the strip $250-300 a night

I've been around these forums from the beginning. I was eleven the last time the original band toured. Parents said I was too young to go to the show at the Silverdome. Never thought this day would come.

I never opt for e-tickets unless it's the only option. I always get my hard copies shipped.

You gotta wonder, if this thing is still being negotiated in anyway as to former members, we should be careful about putting pressure on this thing as to what we (personally) may want. It may cause it to blow up in our faces (ie being overly negative, egging on the press, who follow these boards to do more stories bagging on the reunion). What we need is some patience, these are relationships that are highly complicated and that's based just on conjecture, theory, rumors, and whatever has been reported in the press. Add the truth and whatever we don't know adds even another layer to the gigantic knot of conundrum we call Guns N' Roses. So let's all relax, we just got a couple months to wait.

Why are we arguing about Chinese Democracy? Guns N' Roses are reuniting for gods sake! We are going to see Axl and Slash running around shredding and banshee wailing through our favorite songs on the same stage for the first time in a quarter century. Who cares what extra songs they play here and there really?

I'm looking at about $1500 to do Coachella. So $250 to get to see them near me sounds like a bargain.

If Slash has agreed to play with new Guns, I imagine at some point there will be a few songs from Chinese and/or Velvet Revolver/Slash added to the setlist. I'm guessing you are gonna get 2 hour set times, all hits, on stadium/festival tour. If they come around and do arenas on a second leg you probably get an expanded setlist to draw out the diehards to come out twice.
