Maybe they got caught of guard by people freaking out about the lineup. Honestly though most of the people who are gonna buy tickets and fill stadiums aren't going to be people who would know Izzy or Steven exist much less be complaining about it. Just like if you read comments on Van Halen you would think people gave a shit about Michael Anthony, fact is his absence had no effect on the huge success of that reunion.

I would be surprised to see anything before Slash gets back from Europe. Dizzy has his tour Jan/Feb. Rehersals maybe March/April. Probably maybe by May something could happen. Sabbath announced dates super early, maybe you announce the festivals early to gauge interest to see whether or not your are looking at arenas or stadiums for a full tour, my guess is you do 10-15 stadium shows in the USA, then 10-15 more in Europe, then come back for the arenas in the fall and winter next year.

The Joint shows at the end of 2001 featured a much better faster more put together version of Silk Worms. I was there, major disappointment no one got audio of it.

Howard Stern is such a bottom feeder at this point I couldn't care less. Stern has turned into a complete Wacko. Him and Jesse Ventura are perfect for each other, though I despise Ventura far more.
