i really cant understand why they are releasing shacklers, then if the world to the public and have made no announcements, its just as bad as leaking them. if they dont make an announcement soon they are fools.

the record company probably wants to just put it on the shelf, it already has enough promo and axl wont let that happen. Or other way around.

ya something needs to be delivered to universal before they will even touch promotion at all. Assuming they are mixing it right now, and get the first song they want as a single mixed, on disc and to the company for distrubtuion and universal is like well i think he is serious this time, they send out the single to radio and prepare the promo for it, at that point they have 8 weeks or so to have the album all ready to go, so its basically when the single hits or leaks , and its officially the single , you can expect the album in a month or 2 from that date. Thats my view, i get release books from universal through my work in promotions in radio, so when it is just about due out, i will let you know the track listing and cover work for it.

well its the first time any sorta date has been stated to the general public, it will be really the first time the public will see that he didnt come through, although most people know that he has put this record off a million times

there people saying PREPARE FOR CD!! CD IS HERE!! Wake up! lol ... really though, if he plans to stick to his schedule which im sure anyone who has spent this much time on anything will want to , it does not have the proper time to promote it, the BEST things we can expect is an announcement before then or close to that with an Actual release date and some sort of promotion, that in all honesty would be the best thing at this point

how sick would it be and i could see it happening too, is they just disregard the statement from axl all together and act like it wasnt said, that would piss me off enough not to go to another show the next time they come around

like how bad is it to get a single going, singles sometimes play like 3 months in advance, that buys you atleast another 2 months to promote.. like its really really sad...

history of faking there is an album coming out and still touring while people are under the assumption they might get an album every year.. i feel like a kid just realizing theres no christmas...

highly doubt it, when i get a book on my desk that i get from universal with the tracklist, picture of the cover and a release date i shall have faith but this is just mental how he leaves everyone in the dark and everyone is swore to secrecy

So do you think axl will give us another open letter about his tenative release date, and why he didnt have the album done but could do fashion shows and plan tours in africa?
