In my opinion Axl is born to be there and perform these songs
He really bring back the emotion to these songs with those screams and high notes. I think iT's on par wioth the studio versions, if not better
I'll always prefer Axl's voice on anything, it's a razor's edge... Brian sounds like the cookie monster

if only I could replace "Hell ain't a bad place to be" with "Touch too much", "Rock n' Roll Damnation" with "Money Talks", "Sin City" with "Who made Who", and "Shot down in flames" with "Big Balls"

Has he ever put together such great performances in a row? I mean even back in the day he was hit and miss.

I can't believe I'm about to watch my third AC/DC concert (well, if there is a stream). I only really know a couple of songs by them. Axl and AC/DC are such a good combination, though. I even ordered an Axl/DC t-shirt today.
Yeah never liked em too much too many satan mentions for me, being a Christian, but Axl is worth watching it.

It's about being in the moment, right now I'm interested in this, when this is over I'll be interested in Guns. If you asked me do I want a new Guns record or AC DC with Axl, I want Guns 100% not even close, but in the end both would be better.

I don't know about anybody else but I don't like replacing the singer with someone who sounds just like the last guy, it's lame. i.e. journey though his voice is not as rich and husky as steve perry, he sounds too much like him and it's all wrong. Axl sounds like Axl Rose, not some poor man's Brain Johnson and I prefer that. I think it'd be an insult to replace him with someone who sounds like his younger self. I honesty think AC/DC had 3 oh shit moments, when they first got the call from Axl, when they heard him rehearse, and when he put on the show he did in Lisbon, after tonight, they'll have diarrhea for a month.

I'm just glad that this time his voice isn't going unheard by the public like it was in 2010 the only year I compare to this. Joining AC DC was a brilliant move by Axl in the grand scheme of things.

He said "good night" without the "fucking." Wonder if Angus told him to drop that.
thought that too and laughed

He does seem to enjoy them but who wouldn't

Improvement is good. Maybe it will keep getting better with more shows. I get the feeling in rehearsals that he was more focused on the Brian material, partially because he has proven for 30 years he can nail Bon material (Rosie and Riff Raff), but also partially because he is directly filling in for Brian so I think he felt extra obligation to do those songs justice.
I think it would help a lot if the sound man just turned his mic up a bit when he's not intending on screaming, or a better compressor

Curious to hear it. Other night he didn't sound so good on TNT or Dirty Deeds.
Both sounded better though not perfect, but tnt he really nails Bon's texture and accent, don't expect full rasp on it though, would love to hear Big Balls with this voice

I think the alcohol is the main problem. If face looks bloated it could be that or some meds, but not food. I dont know what he eats but I hope he doesn't eat junk food... it'd be totally fucked up for him to eat that shit during the tour. He has to take care of his overall physics and the voice. Those greasy junky foods are the worst.
he's eerily looking like a fat Corey Haim

But if they make him look bad then he should drop them. He knows they look bad now thats why he adds the hat. But his loose hair is cool. He always had a huge forehead but in the 90's he also had bangs that covered all that. Maybe he should get bangs again.
I agree with the bangs suggestion, I don't know why he doesn't wear it like he used to. I'd also grow full stubble or beard, his face is too bloated for clean shaved. Most importantly just lose the damn weight and lighten up on the drinking. Either cut all carbs or only eat once a day. We eat entirely too much these days. He should also stop lifting weights if he isn't going to lose weight all it's doing is bloating him further. Gonna end up looking like a dwarf with no beard i.e. an old Danzig.

Bandanna's are his trademark he should never totally abandon them and they hide his huge forehead, besides he just needs to lose weight. You always look bad in a bandanna when you're fat, you look bad period. The AC/DC logo with the bandanna floating around is awesome and you know exactly what it means. The bandanna should never die.
