Brain is the best drummer the band ever had, all a round drumming Outlook wise. Steven was the best sound, the swing man - Phil Rudd type of gem in him. But Brain got Stevens groove, wasnt a robot on the UYI stuff like Matt and slays Frank to bits on any CD number. Miss him.
It is an Ok song, better than a few that made on CD and I love that album, so good effort. But I am really waiting for the General, Tommy Stinson likes It, Thus I reckon I will.
best regards,
oldie member since 2002

People say the full Zodiac leak is fake but why does It always end up being taken down from YouTube for Copyright vialations as other fakes as No Love Remains stays there for years and years
just thought about this in regards to the recent GTA VI leaks, as they were taken down It was confirmed that they are real

Well the drum sound is not very good at all. The Guitars are really good, but the drumming sound mechanic… WAIT!… could It be Matt hah

I hope it’s Frank. Guy’s earned his stripes and deserves to be featured prominently on a killer track.
LOL - but he sucks compared to any other GnR drummer, God forbid even Matt.
great drummer thou, but the F factor is missing as GnFR u know

Rest in peace Timo and thank you.
Back in the day when you still made money from albums, Timo did well with one co-writing credit on an album that sold 20 million copies - bought an apartment with it in London

That's not Zodiac. Instrumental doesn't sound anything like that.
Ok - then I was fooled.
I am sorry! Did not mean to stir shit at all, not my cup of tea.- 1

If that's axl, I'm the Easter Bunny
I feel that it is. The guy has Quick Song, Hard School and State of Grace up, so seems odd that one would be a miss.
Also I of course have not heard the Zodiac instrumental, so I dont know if the song matches or not. My full version is 5:31 lenght but time will tell I guess. If the song does not match then this of course might be a fake, but sounds like Axl to me - shaky sounding rough vocals as in many other of these things -
You judge, seems to be on YouTube

And it's 100% legit Axl?
Yes this certainly is 100% Axl

Is it a full completed vocal track ala Hard School?
At least what I have is a full track with full vocals

Hello. Back at the work laptop.
It says Zodiac and it certainly has lyrics to it. The quality aint the best.Starts with
If you come with me
We could make it real
Sound familiar? Song length is 5:31.
As for No Love Remains, I guess I was hoaxed. It was in the same pile as all the others that I got. Says No Love Remains. But it is this same that was marked hoax on YouTube so most likely is one, althou people on YouTube say that it is Robin on vocals and it does sound like him, but as it was in the same pool I was fooled on this one.
But let me know if Zodiac rings a bell - that one is certainly Axl on vocals

You don't remember even one line?
Something's fishy here.I listened to them while working - cant really remember lyrics from any of em or could not tell every song from another with that experience. I aint a native English speaker either.

If you didn’t know anything about the 2019 leaks then I reckon what you have is something that we all already have. Maybe post a few lyrics once you have access to your laptop?
Yeah I will - I am totally out of the loop. Today first time checked the list of the 2019 - WOW there is a ton of stuff, I only have a handful compred to that.
Did the General ever leak entirely? I remember that Brain talked about that and a song called Seven

Yes, we all have those.
You haven't got Zodiac with vocals. I'm not even sure what you're claimung you have/ Which out of the following is your best guess:
- Zodiac with vocals
- A completely fake song by someone else
- Another GNR song mistitled Zodiac
Yes I more or less agree - dont know shit about the leaks before this week
-
@PeleCool stuff, you are second best Pelé I know.
Also now found Oklahoma and Thyme instrumentals. Imagine that

If I thought I had Zodiac/No Love Remains, I'm confident I'd be able to recite a line or two.
Either you're lying, or you've downloaded fake or mis-titled songs that we've all heard.
My best guess - you won't post anything on Monday.
And nothing about Atlas Shrugged is 'amazing' and the intro isn't noteworthy at all. On fact there isn't really any into, it just kicks in with a verse after a single guitar note is played 4 times.
You are a sad little man. Look how hard is It to understand;
- I told you right from the get-go that the titles might totally be off; you all have had these for a ton longer and you are most likely correct about songs being labeled wrong
- I would understand these comments if I would have registered here today, been a member since 2003 and hey read my history, I have not trolled or placed false rumours
- Great that you take in lyrics like a sponge, I dont. If there would have been some Madagascar quality here then Yes, but these are pretty forgettable, especially what I have labeled as Zodiac, Nothing and Eye on You
And I quite like Atlas - the intro aint super complex etc but nice little start -

The guy is probably just mixing up one song with another, no need to go in so hard on him lol.
Nah not mixing up, but the titles might be off of course
Ya rookies dont know a thang, we used to dig all peer to peer networks etc and find nothing, you have a ton or new songs fall in your lap

Why is this blatant trolling allowed on the forum?
Uh, hey man. Again I joined in 2003, never trolled - never will. Yeah I will come back after a few years and troll.
I got 10-12 tracks that I listed above, had have em for a couple of days and listened to them while working. Will not open my laptop over the weekend, dont know how your braib works but I dont remember lyrics after hearing the tracks a few times - unless super catchy that this material is not, lacking single material.
To show that I know what I am talking about I will state that Nothing and Eye On You are crap. Atlas Shrugged has an amazing intro. Quick Song has a weird chant in the chorus, good song thou. Zodiac is very forgettable.

You don't have a real GNR song that we dont.
What are some lyrics in 'No Love Remains'?
Yeah I of course understand that man, I joined the Forum in 2003. I have seen the name game, most likely the title is off. But a cool tune. Zodiac I dont like so much but version I have is with lyrics - but again is It a song that you know as Zodiac, dont know.
I will get back to you on the lyrics on Monday

To me all the new songs prior to the General have been a huge "meh". But The General really got me excited the first time since CD (as for new GnR music)
I think it is fantastic and keeps growing and growing on me, always a good sign of quality. It is also ways better than many songs on CD - so all and all it stands its ground. Didn't Tommy Stinson say that the General is the best song not released somewhere after CD, and at least at this stage this seems spot on - ways better than anything else.
I like the song on multiple layers, but sound wise this is the best one yet too - by far. I have a bit of a problem with Axls vocal sound on many songs as it sounds too computery and layerd', but here everything blends very well.
Oh and I dig Monsters too, not as great as the General but the third best of the new songs to me, after General and Hard Skoolio.
And now we wait for Atlas Shrugged - what's next Cock-A-Roach Soup?
