Shit might be deeper than we tought then. Makes me sad and my hopes to see Izzy around have dropped to almost zero now.
Izzy has played with with GNR a few times in the last decade.

I'm not so sure that the "competent majority" thinks that way bud. I'm almost positive if you were to poll all GN'R fans worldwide, everyone that has bought their albums, they would pick Adler over Frank....and pretty sure it wouldn't be close.
That being said, I personally think "baby steps" is the way to go with this thing. Everyone seems to be getting along and having a great time. Let's not rock the boat. Having Adler for a few songs every night is fine for now....as the tour progresses maybe we'll get him for a few more. Maybe by next year they trust him enough to do a half a set...and maybe one day he'll help them record new music.
As for Frank, Axl has shown that he is loyal to those that are loyal to him, so I doubt he goes anywhere unless he decides to leave.
I think you are missing what I am saying.

Then call me a member of the 'incompetent minority' as Stevie both sounds and looks fantastic.
Incompetent is a reference to the lack of understanding why he isn't. We all would love for him to come back. I agree that his style on the old songs sounds better.

Please source that for us. A vocal minority continues to make declaratory statements like this.
No a incompetent minority says Adler should come back full time. The competent Majority knows that Frank is the best for the time being since Adler's health is a major issue. The stroke and the battle with addiction have taken its toll. I would love for him to come back and be able to physically and mentally do a full tour with out a secondary drummer. However that it is very unlikely.

Axl's played some of his songs (probably CD2 material) to Slash and Duff and they liked it. But right now they're focusing on touring.
They would probably restructure it like the did with Better.

Street of Dreams maybe played in Nashville!

Funny- his bosses (Axl/Slash/Duff) could simply fire him.
Actually there is only one Boss managed by Team Brazil.

All the hate is because he isn't Izzy or Gilby. He plays better than both of them. Sorry but true. So stop trying to make up things to complain about. GNR has had many great guitars players and their are some that just make stuff up to complain about. However the complaints about DJ Ashba were warranted.

If they did the full Layla, it would be awesome.

time to call buckethead, what's up behind the mask.
Bring back Ron since he is a better fit with the classic GNR stuff and in the same league as Bucket with the New stuff. But that isn't going to happen.

You mean it actually sounds good....and clean
The third guitarist actually made it studio quality, not so much with DJ Ashba though. It gave it the album quality sound live.

Awesome video of SCOM
I love it, but after all these years it sounds incomplete without the third guitarist.

AC DC... I know it isn't going to happen though.

Her backing vocals on most of the songs fit in better ... There is a lot of synth that you don't know about.

well actually he is entertainment. He is in the entertainment business that he CHOSE to do. I don't want him to "amuse" me. I am entertained by his music and I want to hear more
There is a certain degree people demand, which is too far. I get it about the entertainment part but he gets out there and does shows. If he feels inspired to create more songs, that is great. But he doesn't owe us new songs. Eventually it will fade into history.

NICE!!! someone pulls out the old "Axl doesn't owe us" line. Fans wanting new music from their favorite band is not a bad thing. If it wasn't for us, The band wouldn't make a dime
It isn't a line, it is the truth. Wake up, Axl is a human and not an object that we use to amuse our selves...

Naw. I'm a fan of the band. I hate that my favorite band has released just one album in the last 25 years.
Axl could have been creatively inspired for the last 25 years. But if he doesn't share the music with his fans then who gives a f*ck?
There are something like 8 billion people in the world. I hope they all are happy in life. But Axl and I aren't friends or family, so his personal happiness doesn't mean any more to me than some random dude in Rhode Island or Mexico or Brazil.
His career is as a rock singer. We pay money for his music, merch or concert tickets. That's our relationship. He puts out a product and I buy it. Axl doesn't give a f*ck about me and you in real life.
I care more about the music he shares with fans than I do about his personal inspirational/creative satisfaction when he is just sitting at home by himself.
He doesn't owe us anything and could walk away at anytime (I hope not)... It is about him being inspired and the rest may or may not fall into place.

It isn't about new music for us. It is about is he creatively inspired for himself.

A positive about the AC DC thing is that it might loosen Axl up from years of pressure .

I will word this carefully, I have always loved GNR in any configuration. Watching Melissa has become something I have now cared about being a Pitman person. But I like what she adds. Talent wise... I mean and maybe something else but that has yet to be determined.
