  1. before the internet existed, GnR probably gave many of these "shortened" shows and nobody could compare, now we have stats on which songs they played and how long each show was...I wouldn't read anything into this, maybe a band member was under the weather as was the case in Toronto.

it was pretty hard to film during GN'R on the floor.,.the only full song i was able to get was L&W

nicely done, great sound. I haven't seen any other Brick clips...you might be the only one who has this!!!! Thx for sharing.

  3. WAIT ONE SECOND! Why arent you drinking?

I agree, never stop drinking...just wear a catheter or a diaper.

That's the main reason I didn't get GA seats at any of the shows.

Drinking at gigs never made sense to me, at least not a gigs I have an emotional investment in. Savour the moment, remember as much of it as you can, don't let alcohol or drugs cloud your memory. There are tons of other times to get a drunk but a Guns show may only come by once every few years.

I agree you shouldn't get tanked if you really want to remember, but nothing wrong with getting a good buzz and feeling the show with your inebriated senses

  4. But the question remains. Why Slayer, a big band, need to mention Axl about their touring history and how good they trested the fans?

Perhaps because this "big" band Slayer is jealous that Axl is even bigger, despite having the audacity to not kiss ass or suck up to his fans.

    Just a thought.

Slayer, big? Try this experiment - Ask your parents who the lead singer of Guns n' Roses is, and then ask them who's Slayer's?

Guaranteed they have no fucking idea about Slayer. GnR have reached people in every age group (whether they are fans or not) and this guy is just spouting off at the mouth. Wouldn't read too much into it.

Am listening to GnR live in Tokyo from this tour right now...fucking awesome.

  5. Alright bitches, I'm on my way to moncton, 4 hour drive and I've got my phone charger so iPhone wont fail me tonight.

I'll keep you posted. Have GA for the show, not drinking from here on out.

Yeah, it'll be just you. You can stand where you like, take photo's on your mobile..

..remember not to wear a Slash t-shirt, and it's probably best not to have permed black hair :D

In Ottawa I followed a guy thru security wearing a legit slash top hat (concho belt) and slash wig. Also saw buckethead so this is bullshit!

Approaching new brunswick / nova scotia border. Nipples getting hard.

Saw the buckethead dude too...haha.... Have a great time tonight you lucky bastard!

  6. Anyways I found this site that gives stats on what songs they have played so far on this tour. I though it was interesting so I thought I would share it with you all. I’m hoping it’s accurate.

    Song Stats

that's hilarious, they track where they played each song. glad to see that by going to three shows, I only missed My Michelle and IRS from their original material. thx

  7. the Ottawa show was my first GNR concert ever. So the French-Canadian girl that I am was pretty excited as you can imagine.

I made sure to dress up like a hot rocker chick, meaning skinny jeans, tall high heels black boots, nice tight little black top, he he.

Nothing better than an excited French Canadian girl! Hey Now! B)

  8. My third show on this tour (Hamilton, Toronto and Ottawa) and I think this was the best one.

One funny moment I noticed was during YCBM, Axl threw his mike stand towards the back of the stage like a javelin, and it actually went under the stage part where they keep the piano, through the GnR Logo curtain. Then, the next time they bought the piano out for November Rain, the technicians had to spend some extra time fixing something under the piano. Maybe a wire or something that was displaced by his throw. Axl is in full force again!

  9. Great show. Hamilton had better sound from where I was sitting (ACC sucks up in the rafters) but that was my choice to get cheap seats.

Had a blast, gave high fives to everyone around me, didn't hurt that me and my buddy went to the GnR preshow party at the Loose Moose and drank 5 pitchers of beer, plus a few more large, yet expensive drafts, at the ACC. Good times. Enough about me.

Axl coming on late was hilarious, fuck em if they can't take a joke. Love the wheelchair...I was like, holy shit, he's gonna do the entire show from his chair WTF??? and then he jumped out of it, funny as hell.

Catcher was great to hear, wished they would have played TWAT and Prostitute, but the show was awesome nonetheless. Toronto crowd could have been livelier but eh, what can you expect from us conservative folks. Next show in Ottawa, see you all there!!!

  10. I talked with a friend that work for the TV station. They are actually one of my customer.

It ended up being quite positive for GN'R. People were saying how great the band sound and how they can give

    a great show.

There was one guy from a radio station that was more like the negative guy, well it was his role in the debate. He ended up

with a more positive view on GN'R after the show.

There's a lot of GN'R talk in town today, it's great to ear GN'R in Montreal again.

I wish I was seeing them in MTL. I was born there, and visit all the time, best city in the world! I would trade my Hamilton, Toronto and Ottawa tickets for the MTL show...just didn't fit into my schedule dammit! Look forward to hearing how Axl kicks ass in Habland!

http://musiqueplus.com/etat-critique/videos/etat-critique-guns-n-roses - good 5 minutes on CD, for the most part they liked it.

  11. I didn't see the outcome of this, but I want to reiterate my point. I am not saying fans don't get enjoyment out of AC/DC, Metallica and Motley Crue, of course they do. But ask yourself seriously, if any of their recent music is as progressive to their band's style as was CD to GnR.

I'd say not. Relevance, IMO, is about the continual evolution of a band's sound musically all the way to the end of their careers. I'd hate to say it, but AC/DC hasn't done anything new since Back in Black, maybe Razor's Edge. Metallica, goes without saying they have been music whores who abandoned their roots to gain younger fans, and the Crue were really never in the race. So, that leaves the influences of CD on the GnR legacy, and frankly I think you'd be a fool to think that these latest songs are not a proper evolution to the saga that is GnR!

Therefore, be that as it may, notwithstanding what was previously discussed! GnR is still relevant.! :shades:

  12. This guy fucking disgusts me. It's fucking weird that a guy dedicates his life to getting his picture taken with all these celebrities. Ya, we'd all want our picture taken with our celebrity favorite, but this many makes it a business and he's a fucking user asshole motherfucker. No respect for that shit, and I guarantee you that if Axl knew the history on this fuck, he would have never signed that guitar. Fuck him and his bullshit agenda.

    Axl rocks.

  13. It didn't say on the ticket, and that's why I got an email and a phone call (in the same day). Phone call was automated.

YES I AGREE!!!! Must be either a DVD being recorded, or a new song!!!!

    Fucking wicked!!!!!!!

Who cares about no cameras, I've been to 8 shows, and never took a picture, I just remember them for myself.

  14. I checked with Musique Plus and no GN'R is not there.

They gonna have a panel of guest and they will debate about if GN'R is dead or not.

The show will be on Monday night at 8pm.

Dead or Not? That's such a dumb topic. Put me on that panel. The relevance of a band is relative to its peers in the same category of music, and frankly, I see GnR as one of the most relevant Hard Rock bands still in existence. AC/DC, Metallica, Motley Crue...now, that's dead. Sure sales might differ with my opinion, but quality in my eyes doesn't even come close.
