the problem is that he is negotiating a record deal with a couple of record company, and its taking a pretty LONG time to get it down.. he says he doenst know when hes gonna get it down and out..

also theres some finishing touches like vocals, some more solos that hes gonna do in Janruary..

So, im confused? is Merck still managing Guns N Roses???

the cd is done for the most part. just a couple more guitar solos and some vocals to be added...

baz did most of the recording in june/july...

but he lost his record deal I think and is talking to some record companies... according to that interview he thinks theyll have a deal down and have the cd out by early 2007

They are talking to my new manager who is Rick Sales from Sanctuary Artists. Rick is really helping out a lot and we are on the fast track on getting that out in the beginning of 2007."

Bach needs to start talking about himself and not Axl in his interviews... but if he is for real then it shouldnt be to far into 2007 then, April at worst?

Darien Lomeli of the Chico Enterprise Record recently conducted an interview with former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach. A few excerpts from the chat follow:

On touring with GUNS N' ROSES:

"For me, this whole tour is one gigantic highlight, because I have been trying to establish my name in the eyes of rock fans as a solo artist. I've been playing huge festivals in Europe, and have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to play the arenas in America. GUNS N' ROSES is the perfect opportunity."

On his current lineup:

"I was fortunate enough to get Bobby Jarzombek and 'Metal' Mike Chlasciak from Rob Halford's band. Also, I have Rob De Luca from the band SPREAD EAGLE. He is a dream to work with and a great bass player."

On his next album, "Angel Down":

This is an interesting development IF the article is genuine and they really did interview Baz without twisting what he said.

Firstly assuming the above is proved right, it proves there is a release date. That is something we have never had.

But I will remain sceptical on this one as if Baz knows then surely it would be common knowledge.

bt the rest, this guy DOES have some sources in GNR camp... he told everyone of some GNR stuff before it happened..

also, Brett Meisener said the holdup was the CD cover...

so I wouldnt dismiss this as bullshit just yet...

I think this DJ and the one in Idaho are using a chopped up version of the Eddie Trunk interview to make it sound like they're doing a real interview.

but axl said "fall, late fall" in the trunk interview.. and this guy is sayng axl said "in autumn"

I just think they dont have anything left in their marketing and promotions budget, and are waiting for the new year so that they can do it right.

I think that, and Merck leaving sanctuary had some legal holdups..

remember, bumblefoot told hollywoodrose that merck leaving sanctuary might affect the album coming out this year...

I have heard that before as well, but unfortunately i'm not willing to brows threw the hudreds of topics since then. I'm sure he was quoted saying something like that though, or at least someone from the camp was.

He was not amused cause he does not understand the hype. however, he claimd that it is just a "Bestellformular" which I wd. translate as order list. and yes, it is from universal. He said it is just a fax they get every week, so that you can order what the store needs. on top it has new entries and due to his words CD had been on today. No discription, no tracklist or whatever. just a simple line where you put in yr. number of wanted copies. thats it. I will post it as soon as I get it.

DECEMBER FOR GUNS N ROSES?:

Watch this date - Tuesday December 19. That is the new/current supposed release date for the Guns N Roses Chinese Democracy album. I'm told that the plan is still to try and surprise fans with the release, but the November 21 date for this has been scrapped. The guys are definitely running out of time for that 2006 release date. Advance warning or not, the release of this album will surprise many!

I spoke to the buyer at Yonge St, downtown Toronto and he said it's NOT listed on the latest splits.

it might differ store to store?? Someone else who works at HMV says theyll get their splits for December 19th cds next wednesday....
