He was probably just singing subconsciously without even realizing "Hey, this might fuck up the video I'm trying to make."
-
BTW, the way Axl is acting in that video would NEVER happen to America, no way. And I'm not entirely blaming Axl for that, either, because if he was ever just at an airport signing stuff people would keep walking up to get more and more, then the paparazzi and TMZ would get there shooting video and taking pics and asking him questions they know would get under his skin just to get a response, then it would be all over the Internet within 10 minutes. That's why Axl chose to do this tour outside of America...in other countries, you can just walk around freely and unless someone goes out looking for you nobody even knows or cares who you are. It makes me upset that the media coverage in the US is like this, but it also makes me upset that Axl doesn't realize this by now.
Except Taker usually doesn't have a naked woman on the back of his coat. Be funny if he did though.
Yeah lol. I just mean it's funny how all of a sudden you see this guy come walking out of the tunnel in a long trench coat and hat with long hair haha.

Axl looks amazing and very friendly. That jacket..hahah
He's dressed like the Undertaker from the WWF lol.
-
This has probably been talked about already, but at the end of "Sorry" Axl says it was only the second time he's ever sang that song and that he's "sorry I did that." Anyone know what that was about?
-
Does anyone know if they do in fact play the intro when the shows in Korea opened and then transitioned into the live guitars? Metallica did this when I saw them last year in Newark...the lights dimmed and the intro to "That Was Just Your Life" played to open the show while they took the stage in the dark, then they kicked in with the live music as soon as the lights went on. I'm guessing GNR did something similar with "Chinese Democracy" to open the shows?
-
Does Seoul version have reggae like Taipei?
Yup. I love that version.
-
Am I the only one who thoroughly enjoys every live GNR performance of "KOHD" way more than the studio track?
-
I'm sure this has been talked about already, but did anyone else notice that in the first chorus in "Shackler's Revenge" Axl sings "don't ever try to tell me how you are there for me" twice instead of "how much you care for me"?

Seoul, S. Korea!! Fantastic energy w/the fans! They really took over KOHD. Hearing'em singing along w/Better was a surprise! It was fun playin' Sorry live n' my bad not goin' longer. A few mixups n' gear needed 2 ship but it feels good sortin' out the sheeot. It's such a different animal in the heat of the moment n' gettin' into our reformulated chemistry! 1st indoor gig w/new staging! R in-ear mix was like listenin' to an old AM transistor radio somewhere between bein' in a barrel of toxic waste at the bottom of the ocean or while takin' a "dump" in a tin shitter while a pack of Zombies r beatin' on it with iron pipes! Ha!! Soon as we can stop ingesting this Korean BBQ (Shoutout 2 the 2Jens!!) it's on to Osaka, JP where we got r own brand of KamiKaze 2 unleash!!
Just read that also - made me do a big LOL in work. I thought it may be a PR doing the updates as is the case with lots of celebs but this seems tobe the real deal.
Agreed. Axl didn't type like that in any of the chats he did here....
Actually, I had the opposite view. I think this looks like it was written by somebody else for him.
It has way too much "teen" slang - like sortin' and bein' and goin'- to sound like him. jmo.
I can certainly understand why he might have somebody else writing this stuff. But whoever it is - I think they should write the way he does.
-
My guess is he continues to update it throughout the tour and then after that we won't get another Tweet until 2015 lol.
-
OK, what site are you guys getting these HQ pics from??
-
Well people are dissing how he looks but they are hardly the most flattering pictures of him are they!
These are all we have to judge him on. Chances are, they'll be the last pics of Axl we'll see until 2015 lol.
He looks alright...like I said in the TMZ video thread, he's definitely gained weight and looks more like he did in 2002 versus 2006. He needs to just go with the full goatee and the braids/hair extensions I thought was better than his current look.
I also think this proves he's NOT wearing a wig...if he was, he damn sure could have found one better than that.
-
Probably a stupid question: is that Axl in the videos singing or are they just using a stand-in for him?
-
Have they ever NOT opened a show with WTTJ? That's a little surprising to me.
"Scraped" and no "Catcher" are the two biggest surprises to me. I'm sure they'll play it at some point during the tour, though...
-
I'm expecting a cancellation lol.
-
I ordered/ received one this week. I love the shirt, personally. The logo is kick-ass, and at least it's SOMETHING new GNR/ CD to wear...
-
I don't see the album coming out March 6th, even with the supposed "Better" studio track leaking today.
Record companies and advertisers are going to want time to build up the hype to the release of the album. If "Better" hits the radio within the next few weeks, I can realistically see the album dropping in April.

This has to be run by the record company, Axl has never been this happy in his life lol.
