They'll play the same songs at all of the dates, and for some reason people will come on here and say "Great setlist tonight!" Even though it's the same songs they've played the last 10 nights, in almost the exact same order.

The thing about U2 is you have to really give everything a chance. Most of their albums sound completely different, as they go through "phases", experimenting with all different things. But listen to some of the songs I listed and you're guaranteed to find some stuff you like. BTW, the song you said you liked from Batman is "Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me". Def my fave out of their rock stuff...

Not at all. U2 has a lot more rocking songs than most people think. I can see how people view them as a "sappy ballad band" because a lot of their songs played on the radio are on the soft side but they are a great band if you take the time to get familiar with their material and leave your preconceptions about Bono out of it. I mean if you don't like them you don't like them, but comparing them to Justin Beiber just makes no sense lol.

You guys are completely right. Apart from Axl's weak vocal day, the band was spot on... Bumblefoot was amazing, I mean... he was a fuckin' giant on that concert. He was iconic, if you know what I mean. DJ's new solo is much better than Ballad Of Death, he can surely write good melodies. Frank screwed up a bit on You Could Be Mine, but other than that they were amazing. Dizzy was also great.

never been any big fan of Ron before, but he was the star of the night definitely + rest of the band did a good job too (minus you know who)

Think about this place 10 years ago. I would come now from the future and tell everyone.....Axl has lost hes braids! Long hair back! botox dissapeared, eye browns back, wearing leather jackets and stuff.....still a bit over weighted though. Oh!!! and he sounded fucking great in 2009-2010 tour, mickey mouse gone, rasp rasp rasp, released the damn CD whatever somewhere between too. People has always complained about axls looks last 15 years, including the press.
