    I kinda see your point really. But there were no chats and iphones in 1985. Different time, different ways to promote yourself and your band, and the worst....communicate with the fans, ugh. what a bastard!

    It's a different kind of love. I grew up up as a child with Axl and his music. It's always been there for me....hard to explain.

    I apologize in advance for the long-winded music theory teacher answer...

    Yes...it's in the key of F# major.

    So, the verse would be: F# C# a#m; F# C# B; F# C# a#m; F# C# B.

    The chorus, solo sections, and bridge/telephone rant would be: F# C# B (played 4x).

    The solo is mostly major pentatonic, but it does hit the 4th and 7th scale degrees, so it really is just the major scale (F# G# A# B C# D# E# F#).

    If you don't like thinking in sharps, it can also be thought of as Gb Major. The verse is: Gb Db abm; Gb Db Cb; Gb Db abm; Gb Db Cb. The chorus, solo, and telephone rant is: Gb Db Cb. The solo would be in Gb Major (Gb Ab Bb Cb Db Eb F Gb).

    no. we are still here. Axl is god, he can do whatever he wants not to. I follow. Its been 13 years, still here....messiah. It was great to see the man live last summer, hes not crucified yet

    for any other band I like....this all would be totally ridiculous BS.

    actually I hope Axl would just quit, and let us know. its great time to quit now.....it was awesome 2010 tour etc..CD is done.

    This is definitely one of those albums that needs some time. If you asked me 2 years ago, I would be like nah, decent shit plaahplaah, 2-3 great songs etc. I love CD, its a fucking masterpiece....only song Im not the biggest fan is IRS, its ok like shotgun blues, I enjoy it, but heard better ones too. And In general, Im the most critical "rock police" a- hole there is. I love CD.

    good question, I dunno. Its just hard to be positive with this band, though they just had awesome tour etc.....been following this whole thing since 98, but still....have a little bad feeling about this, scared there wont be nothing new for us :( but theres hope...
