  1. From a musicians perspective, if the music is great enough, playing the same songs every night is not necessarily boring. Great players find different subtle ways to improvise in music, much of which most people wouldn't notice. Does it not look like they are having fun? Tommy especially is so alive night after night no matter. Its a dream gig.

  2. I've got one thing to say. Psyched to see Jungle was the opener and hope it stays that way.

I love Chinese Democracy too, but there is nothing more awesome than the lights going down on a full house, and the first sight of Axl being him howling:

"YOU KNOW WHERE THE F*#K YOU ARE??????"

Chinese is totally cool anywhere else in the set.

See some of you at THE RITZ baby!

  3. Anyone find out if there is an age restriction for the Roseland Ballroom show? I have a couple relatives who aren't yet 18 but huge Guns fans but I don't want to ask them to accompany me before I know for sure that they will be allowed in. I'm seeing some shows have age restrictions but haven't seen any info about that one.

Roseland has always been 16+ unless they changed it. BoweryPresents.com has info on Webster and T5. Webster Hall tix are $125 before surcharges. I know it will be intimate and unreal, but its alot of cash to throw down.

According to the site all shows have no age limit unless specified, however most of the upcoming shows have some kind of age limit specified. And the GNR show isn't yet on their site.

Hope they get the info up soon.

Terminal 5 is the most notoriously awful venue in all of New York City by the way. I've never been there but everyone says it has horrible sight lines, terrible sound, and really strict security. Thats the one to skip.

  5. Hey everyone, my band sounds nothing like GNR, we're not even hard rock, but GNR are my all time favorite band and I lurk on these boards for years, only posting occasionally.

Obviously anyone who loves GNR does have great taste though and I feel would be open-minded, and we're doing our most major tour career to date on the east coast and in the midwest in the next month or so, so I wanted to introduce mysef/ourselves to you anyway!

The band is called BuzzUniverse, we play a huge variety of music and alot of 70s inspired rock....

We're trying to get our facebook page to 1,000 fans by the launch of our tour on April 8th, so please become a fan at:

    http://www.facebook.com/buzzuniverse1

Or check us out at www.buzzuniverse.com too....

Hope to turn some of your on to our eclectic music.....

    GNR4EVER!!!

  6. If you want to land tickets during the presale, use this strategy and I guarantee your success :

1: Go to www.time.gov in a separate window, so you can see the official US time which is extremely close to ticketmaster time. I say this so you don't hit refresh too many times if your watch is off, because ticketmaster can lock you out sometimes.

2: Get the password in your clipboard on your computer. A good way to make sure this is right is do start-run, in windows, type the password, highlight it, and hit control-C to copy it.

3: When it is 11 AM, hit refresh every 4-5 seconds, no more than that.

4: The second you see the info appear, scroll down, click into the passwork box, and hit Control-V to copy the password in. Select the number of tickets you want, and place the order, quickly. You'll beat probably 90% of the crowd and get your tix right away if you take these steps.

Good luck with the 11 AM PRESALE!!!
