To the people saying that the stations playing this is bad, or robbery etc, remember GnR need this kind of exposure and build up, without this kind of thing they'd be fucked. Gone are the days where Axl could fart into a tape recorder and it'd sell millions. They need to get people interested again, they need the rumor mill, and they need the hype. Remember, a hell of a lot of people out there will just respond to this with "Guns N Roses, oh I remember them, is that guitar guy, whats his name, Slash, still in that band?"

Hence why you get demo's not finished products, odds are some or all of these songs wont make it onto CD anyway, the might just be the best outtakes that were kept for just this purpose. And yes, that statement is pure speculation.

It's playing now on WAAF, I'm not a fan of the intro, but once it gets going it's pretty damn good, and just gets better as it goes on. To me it sounds like a demo version that was pretty close to completion, the mix for the vocal seems slightly off, and the guitar sounds a little off mark for it to be a final version.

They have said it was a demo now as well. I'm not sure if they've been doing that for a while as this is the first time I've heard it.

I'd give it a 7/8 out of 10 probably more when it's not a demo version.

I'm not sure but you need to make a change in the BIOS properties of your machine (i.e hit delete as soon as you turn it on). I've not done this so am NOT even remotely sure as to the accuracy of this, so DO NOT just do this because I said so.

But I think you need to access the BIOS, set which drive is the master, which is the slave, and then the boot order. I.E you need to tell the machine to boot from the XP drive first, and ignore the other drive. All being well when you open up windows explorer you will have another drive, given whatever letter you gave it in the BIOS (probably E:\), that you can then format, copy to and from to your hearts content.

However, this is probably a very simplified version of what you need to do. If you decide to try it based on this and fuck up your machine, then I have warned you numerous times, so on your head be it.

How does being banned work in terms of logging on from different IP's? I.E I get myself banned for some reason, but post here from both work and home?

There are quite a lot of banned people. Most of them deserved it entirely. Some of them could probably be argued either way.

But at the end of the day, if you act like a moron, you deserve to get banned, so I think it's good that people can be.

I'd actually rate With Teeth as a good introductory album to NIN, it's, IMO, more accessible than the others, especially Downward Spiral, which if you don't know what to expect, you might dismiss as being down right weird.

I voted Dimmu, Puritanical was an imense album, and Death Cult was pretty cool too.

It was close between them, Immortal and Emperor, but I listen to them more so....

Top album, if a little short.

Cobain is over rated. Sure he wrote some catchy stuff, and some cool stuff, but he recieves far praise than he was worth. Mostly i think this is because of the icon status he gained after his suicide. I quite like Nirvana, but to be honest I've been more than a little bored of them for the past 6/7 years.

A few people mention Tom Morello, I'm not sure, I think he's good, and has a very unique style, which obviously will divide opinions. I think he sounded better as part of RATM than Audioslave though. But I think Audioslave have more of a last appeal, while RATM could sound dated if you look past the debut.

Only is a great single choice, I think that and 'The hand the feeds' are the more accessible tracks on the album in terms of the world at large. It might not make such a difference in the US, but in countries where NIN aren't so big those are very good single choices.
