  1. Part of it is probably money.

The other part of it is probably because this is his one shot at being something more than just another D-List Shredder (in terms of relevancy) that only 30 people are even aware has a pulse. He wants to be remembered as someone who created great music for a general audience and not just another faceless nobody trying to replace/cover Slash. Can't do that if Axl won't get the ball rolling.Maybe he considers these tweets as scare tactics to Axl. Like "hey get your shit together or start looking for another D-List shredder nobody cares about". Or something among those lines.

By now, he's probably gotten enough financially through Axl, and he wasn't a big fan of gnr before joining Axl's clusterfuck, so in a way, I can see why he's at the end of his rope when it comes to the latter.

Since the guy doesn't follow anybody on Twitter I doubt he even knows what Bumble has been whining about on Twitterverse. And highly unlikely TB's relaying what Ron has said to Axl.

    Erm... Think again!

You think Axl doesn't get to hear when Ron spits his dummy out? Axl's more savvy and 'ear to the ground' than you give him credit for ;)

'Look at me'? Aren't you confusing him to DJ?

Nah thing I like about DJ is he's open and up for it -- he knows he's putting his brand out there. Kudos as far as I'm concerned. Whereas BBF, he moans and moans and moans which like I say, only serves to wind up and worry his genuine fans which is disappointing to be honest. For the rest of us, we dot really give a shit. Tough... But true.

I'll take moaning over lying and disgusting abuse of self-promotion everyday of the week and twice on Sundays. That's just me though.

Yes, same here. I'm pretty sure this time Ron isn't just complain though.

  2. Dunno, they've been there for almost a decade now, lol.

What the hell are these clips doing on bunglefever? I thought they only had Mr Bungle material.
  3. Ashba's "we have tons of material recorded" shit, while yes, complete bullshit, is just him being a company man. He's saying what Axl tells him to say. It's a complete yes man thing but at least he's trying to promote a positive image of Guns N' Roses, like a member of the band should.

Ron on the other hand is just being difficult for some reason. What does he hope to achieve? Does he think that his passive aggressive Twitter bitching will convince Axl to put out a new album? Does he think he'll get a raise out of it? I just don't get it. I don't see the motive. All it does is make the band look bad.

It's like a WWE wrestler doing a shoot interview about "what really goes on" behind the scenes. Which is admirable, until you realize that wrestler is still on Vince's payroll and wrestling at his shows. Then it just makes no fucking sense.

Are you really mentioning Ashba's lies as if they were better or made more sense than Ron's honest answers? A lie will never make sense... he's bullshitting fans and I am glad that Ron called him out in an interview saying "I'm the only one NOT bullshitting you".

I dont know if you follow Guns, but they already look pretty bad and Ron's statements will never make them look worse. He's saying that there's no album since 2010 at least... Ashba, on the other hand, promised that they were working on new songs and recorded them, not to mention that getting the album out was their number one priority. Then here we are, 4 years later and no album, no single, no rumors, etc. Now you tell me who made the band look bad - the guy that said that there was no new album yet, meaning that they shouldnt have expectations within the band or the guy that promised lots of music, made people wait, wait and wait, got people excited only to disappoint everyone and make Guns a bigger joke? The answer is a NO brainer, no matter how you look at it.

Support lies all you want, honesty will get you far and those blatant lies may be what people want to hear first, but they will always get caught.

  4. He's not saying 'fuck it' and leaving. He's doing everything that's scheduled until mid 14's, then it's up to Axl what they're gonna do next. It's not like he doesn't give a fuck to his band mates, he cant simply quit all of a sudden like some people here are suggesting. He's professional, not a fan in a forum pretending that he knows what's best for Axl, Guns and Ron himself. If he goes out there saying that he's gonna quit, it'd be a mistake because people would put in doubt the current tour, the next residency, etc. If he's ready to leave, great. If not, I doubt he'll stick for another year or so, unless something really huge musically wise happens - and we all know it's not happening.

  5. Oh, finally :) I think he's hinting at the obvious - the countdown ending at the end of the residency made it pretty clear in my books. More power to him.

He came in, tried his best to release and write music but it's not his fault that Axl is such a fkn pussy, a diva, a has been. I'm sorry for the guy, but I'm sure he tried his best.

  6. I hope for him. But probably not.

The lack of music - he's been talking about that for years - and his countdown tweet - which coincides with his last Vegas show - probably mean something. He's writing a solo album, he'll tour with Malmsteen and Uli Roth, he still works with Tony Harnell... I hope he does not stick with Guns any longer. He changed after his car accident in terms of not taking the Guns bullshit. In fact since the 06 cameback this is the worst time to be in the band. Until 09 or 10 they were kind of working with some stuff, shows were much better, setlists werent as predictable, they were playing several CD songs... we had Rio in 11, he brought back Estranged, band members hinted at new music, but the car accident got the best (worst?) of him. Okay, still... they were hinting at studio time, Fernando said they were working on a new album. 12 came, nothing came out... 13, nothing. 14? Yes, nothing so far. He's doing much more solo stuff since 11, like releasing singles, working with other musicians, new album, solo tours, workshops, etc. So, judging by his behavior, interviews and tweets... I wouldnt bet my money on it just yet, but I sure hope he's out.
