Bfoot played the US national anthem here and sang it at the 3 minutes mark. The vocals alone are infinitely better than Ashba's awful performance. I recommend ya's to watch from the start though, he sings and plays Wasted Years right at the start of the vid. Great stuff.

Dear Lord, everytime I see guys like Bucket, Ron, Rich, Slash or Robin playing something - anything, really - I look at the current GnR vids and get truly depressed. Why in the world did Axl hire this clown, and why does he allow him to be the lead guitarist instead of Rich?

When you wear this, your guitar skills automatically decrease by 70% if you're not a guitarist - however, if you are a talented guitarist, your guitar skills will decrease by at least 85% but you'll look like a proper rockstar, so it doesn't matter how good you are. Wow, just wow. Can you all notice that every little bit of improv he does here is exactly the same as he does in Guns? The guy has zero creativity. At times I couldn't recognize the US anthem, really, he was just showing off. Slash, on the other hand, played the solo exactly how he was meant to, no showoff, no horrible mistakes, no awful improv, etc. Good Lord, this dude is so shitty at everything he does it isn't even funny anymore.

But really, that meant a lot That theme reminds me of my childhood sundays when my whole family would be at my grandpa's watching F1 supporting Senna. That theme still is one of the greatest - if not the greatest - we've ever had here in Brazil. It truly is heartfelting.

I can name several singers, starting with Bruce Dickinson and then getting to Plant, Tyler, Bach, pretty much any male opera singer out there, Dio, Gillan, Hughes, Myles Kennedy, Kotipelto, Andre Matos, Rob Halford, Chris Cornell, Coverdale, Klaus Meine, Jon Bon Jovi, Aretha Franklin, Montserrat Caballé and pretty much any opera female singer, Simone Simons, Tarja Turunen. Then we have Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Adele and several pop singers out there. Oh, and yes, am I forgetting someone? Oh, absolutely. That Queen singer. There are many more but my point would still the same.

Even if some of those singers couldn't - and did not want to - scream their way to the notes like Axl did, they had much better control over their voices, much better vibrato, breathing technique, could reach notes easier and hold them longer and more accurately. Keep in mind that Axl had poor technique, all he had was power and a strong grit approach (or rasp, to those familiar ) which made him slip notes and out of breath all the time. He'd go out of tune often when singing even easy songs or bits. So no, even if I like Axl more than pretty much most of those singers, they're equally good or better than Axl overall.
