If Axl gets 50 and the other 2 get 25 each that is 100% of profit, of what profit?  What do the others get then?

Profit after all the salaries are paid. The others are paid salaries, then Axl, Duff and Slash share the rest. But as far as I know no one really knows whether its 1/3 for each of them or whether Axl is getting more. I remember someone involved saying Duff got off really well, I'm interpreting it that the 3 are probably sharing the profits equally.

I've seen different people point out they are having a hard time hearing Axl the past 2 shows. Is the sound engineer nodding out or is Axl preserving his voice? After checking out some videos im a little concerned

Yeah, I noticed on the vids from the last shows Axl is quite low in the mix. Maybe they noticed people complained in the beginning of the tour that Axl was too loud in the mix and overfixed it a little bit.

  3. This is just something that happens to lot of guitar players, there is a little idea that comes in while jamming, lick or rhythm pattern or little piece of melody, sometimes it sticks, you use it here and there, come to like it and develop it into something more but meanwhile in the process you use bits before. it's something that was happening to me all the time when I was playing guitar and actively composing.

I'd love to hear Axl's work on the basis of Fall To Pieces. He said it somewhere that Slash did it before leaving GNR and it was one of the things that were supposed to be on the next GNR record and Axl worked on it (if I remember correctly)

  4. These complaints about Axl sounding better with AC/DC are just nuts. Whenever you hear Axl with GNR sounding weak, think whether the stuff he's singing at the moment could be done with the kind of register you remember sounding great from AC/DC. Of course not. It's because the GNR material is very versatile and you can't just scream your way through it + it's often much more difficult in terms of breathing.

I paid 20.00 for a beer at a concert here in the US back in 2012 and another 20.00 for a vodka tonic at Peter Frampton in 2014. at GN'R I wised up and had three cocktails from booze I brought from home at the hotel before the concert then I took some prescribed pain meds during the concert and had a pleasant buzz going on thru til it ended. it's ridiculous they way they overcharge for booze at events,  not just concerts but sports events and such. especially since the price of the tickets alone are often astronomically out of control

Hahaha, you could get 10 beers for that price at today's Prague gig. And people still complained :D
