As far as I'm concerned this never really happened.

I believe there is a nearly finished album of the CD leftovers and than there is a plenty of material which was composed separately by members of GNR except for Axl and which Axl haven¨t touched.

I guess I don't prefer CD over Illusions (even through I listen to CD more often) but I think I prefer CD over AFD.. really hard to compare to be honest.

Actually based on that like 4 seconds we've got, his voice could be back in the 2010.. or in 2012 as well. I'd recommend to wait for more before judging.

I can't imagine him redoing the vocals for DVD in studio. But a good production work can do miracles - if you place the vocal track carefully in the mix with reasonable compression, EQ and usual effects used on vocals, it sounds unbelievebly better than it did before. That's what I'm hopin' for.

If I remember correctly during a performance of Street of Dreams in 2010/11 Dizzy's piano was in the wrong key.

It was in Prague. Pianos are not tuned in different keys, it depends on the player which key he chooses. It was a little dizzy's joke I would say, to start the song in a different key.

I'm sure in rehearsals, Axl fires off what key he wants the songs in. I'm sure Axl and Chris know all about the %'s, most of GNR know how to edit on a computer, and with much more expensive software. They prob. know the shit still in development that isn't sold in stores.

But to do a 2 plus hour set night after night, they're basically doing it around the shape Axl's voice is in prior to the tour, and during the tour, and adjust accordingly. It's the same thing that I've seen Mariah Carey struggle with when I've seen her on TV.

Oh. God. I just.. It fuckin' does not work this way. They play all the songs in the same pitch not only every night but since they were recorded. In the same pitch they are on the album. If it sounds more muddy or heavy it's because of the equalization not because of changes in the pitch. The fact that you can move pitch by %s in fuckin' audacity doesn't mean it's something that musicians actually use. There is no point in doin' it.

Anyway, I think the reason is most of chi-dem songs grow on you a lot, even through you don't like them that much in the first place. But there is not that much in Sorry you have to discover, that's why the general public seems to enjoy it live.

Dizzy and Ron are great on backing vocals. I don't like Tommy's.

The thing is, the backing vocals are kind of buried in the mix. Don't know why, maybe it's just that live mixing habits changed since the 80s and 90s.

I don't know why DJ does the backings so rarely in GNR, he's not bad at all at singing.

Read the whole lawsuit. Axl is right. His are the rights to WTTJ, he can do whatever he wants to do with it.

Anyway, I hope that this show will turn out to be great. I'm fuckin' furious that I can't attend, even through it would be for me only about 3 hours ride from Prague. Stuck in work, the most important meeting I've got in a month must be in the same evening as GNR playin' in Slovakia.
