  1. For everyone saying wayne sucks...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwvl5kBM4sM

how can you not think thats awesome?

great verse, but i like it more on the "cannon" beat from dedication 2.

"and if you strapped, we could trade like the dow jones."

    fire.

cannon is sweet but i dont like it as much as haunted men with biggie, that beat is just sick as hell with the organs n shit. haha, fuckin love it man

awesome song. got some others? :tongue2:

  2. Nutshell is way more heavier. Kinda like listening to Hurt by Johnny Cash after he died and your just like thats heavy man.

i LOVE nutshell. probably my favorite song atm. but i'm starting to get into rooster too

  3. ok so i am using my laptop and ive downloaded a bunch of videos that i wanna burn onto a DVD. i had them all on a playlist and everything and then i put in the DVD. but the laptop is not 'finding' the DVD for some reason and it isnt working. anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it?

  4. alice in chains is fucking amazing. i just got into them really recently and i can't stop listening to them. i agree with the person that said layne sounds like kurt cobain and axl combined. he's got an incredible voice- it's so sad that he died so young

  5. They were all equally crappy. Just a really bad sub-genre. Every time I hear a grunge song I am instantly reminded why I hate all those bands. If I absolutely had to pick one, I'd pick STP for Sex Type Thing and Interstate Love Song, probably the only decent things to come out of that whole movement, and even those are mediocre by any other standard. I'm not trying to be a dick. If you like grunge, good for you, but I honestly think it blows. I don't like music that drains you. It just totally zaps all the energy out of the room. That's not a good quality. It's like a giant killjoy.

i actually feel totally opposite. i never feel 'drained' after listening to grunge music. actually, i feel more pumped up(lack of a better word). or i just feel the same as i did before i put the music on. guess it's not your 'thing'

and i changed my mind. i like alice in chains more than nirvana. i got bored of nirvana pretty quickly and now i'm starting to get really into them

  6. Check out Nick Drake, Elliott Smith and Iron & Wine for the acoustic stuff. And if you want a really weird, psychedelic/folk thing, download My People Were Fair by Tyrannosaurus Rex. Really cool album with lots of interesting sounds.

thanks, i really like iron & wine :)

what are some good acoustic artists/albums to check out? i know jack johnson is really popular, but i've never taken the time to listen to his stuff and i only know one song.

    and also some house/techno??

Neil Young - Live at Massey Hall

As for house/techno - Daft Punk is a pretty good place to start.

thanks, i'll check them out :)
