Sorry for the multiple thread post but can anyone with Manchester standing tickets confirm if you were allocated a block number A through to I or not? I din't think the floor was split into blocks for a standing gig but the below indicates otherwise.

If they are split into blocks I may just opt for a seat. Ta.

OK so I have found tickets in block 107 - OK I guess. My cousin is trying to source some through a contact at the venue also. Just spoken to Ticketmaster who confirm that there are standing seats being held back for future sale (once the blaggers have taken up guest list/comps etc).

Need to work out whther to go for blk 107 or hold out for standing!

Can anyone with standing tickets confirm whether they are general admission standing or are you in a block? Seen a couple of seating plans - one has the floor section split into A-I the others don't.

FUCK! Foolishly didnt bother to buy tickets for the Manchester gig as I was awaiting some old school friends to confirm. Tried to book a pair stading just now and basically ticketmaster have no tickets left, see tickets have a single standing in shitty upper tier seats! I rang to check and they only have about 100 tickets left.

Great news for GnR but shitty news for me. If you have been putting off buying like we did then i'd urge you to buy now.

I got that (presumably) as I have GnR on my list of artists on my Ticketmaster account. I guess they could choose to validate your account with those on their list of 'fans' when you log in to buy the tickets if they really wanted to.

Might be worth somebody (not me) checking

sounds to me like it could be Axl. Its a short clip so who the fuck knows. But certainly sounds like it could be the band of "that time" (99?) dicking around with tunes. Certainly sounds like Axl to me, but really it is such a small sample who really knows. If i dedicated an evening to trying to impersonate Axl in a small segment of a song i reckon i could do it. I just phoned the "Odyssey Arena Box Office", they aren't aware of any pre-sale, so you're assumption is correct.
