  2. anyone can post an mp3 version of the show instead of flacs?

    much appreciated

The quality is not top-notch... but quite listenable in FLAC!

Converting to mp3 (a compression at loss) would damage the sound even more!

I would advise you to keep it in FLAC if you want an enjoyable listening!

until we get perfect quality boots, this is the best there's to offer

I'm not dissing the product, this is great we have this bootleg.

I'm just saying that the convertion to MP3 will further damage the quality!

  3. RaspAxl did an awesome job by posting all the monster in the Appetite For Collection section of HTGTH.

I'm not direct-linking, that would not be polite, but you all know how to go there.

    Huge high-five to raspaxl!

if you can't direct link, could you at least link the correct thread at HTGTH?

i see this, but it's not the whole show: http://www.heretodaygonetohell.com/board/index.php?topic=58408.0

    Man...

I'm sorry to insist but I said it was "in the appetite for Collection section of HTGTH".

    Could not be clearer IMO.

If Raspaxl wants to put the links on this board he can do it or allowing s.o. to do it, but I won't do it without his consent.

  4. Here is something I haven't seen posted yet. Sweet Child on the screen.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QKRTQH_cyk

I think the quality on everything really just depends on where they are positioned, this is straight on and sounds much better than all the other stuff.

Why is Bumblefoot even needed? DJ should have played the entire solo. Kick ass performance by the band.

No way fortus &/or DJ could play note for note bucket's parts...

Only BBF can do that the way he did in Korea & Taiwain!

  5. Axl should have never changed the look he used to have in the old days. He should have kept the bandana, reg hair and T shirts. I never understood the cornrows and the stupid jerseys. That was just awful. I am glad he got rid of all that shit.

Slash has one of the coolest unique looks in rock history. Why should he change who he is?? Times change, but he doesn't have to. Don't bash him to defend Axl.

What does Slash have to do with the GNR gig in Seoul? He looks the way he wants, he's not in GNR anymore, and he could wear a blond gig, a construction helmet and tiny denim shorts I would not care more!

Anyway, sorry sounds fuckin' great. Even if Axl makes quite a few mistakes, it sounds absolutely fantastic instrumentally speaking. DJ played the solo incredibly well!

  6. I never go to HTGTH, so I thought a "some guy" was enough.

Lurk or not Lurk, that guy posted some cool info I was glad to hear. I did not think mentionning his user ID was such a big deal!

I wait until there are indeed some cool pics posted by the guy to give him credits.

I don't think it was really that impolite not to mention a forum username on the internet...

  7. somebody posted a short review on HTGTH

I just got home from this show. I will be do a fuller review on my blog tomorrow, but here are a few highlights...

    * If anybody saw the white guy who translated outside the express (first 1000 people from each side) queue, that was me Cheesy

    * The opening act got stiffed with a 15 minute set. I was pleased.

    * There were some problems with the stage, and they had to screw a few things down just before the show started

    * The stage looks fucking sweet though!

    * Ashba fucking rocks! Awesome player, and he works the crowd like a superstar. He was obviously being showcased, and he was the first image anybody saw (Pics getting emailed to me tomorrow. Iconic), and the crowd all knew his name. Nobody wanted the other guy with the hat Wink

    * Ron's new double-neck is, quite possibly, the sexiest guitar ever made.

    * There were sound problems. Opening chops of CD were muted, and Axl's mic was all over the place, as were guitars from time to time.

    * Axl apologised for his vocals on Sorry. Musically, it was great, but he seemed to have problems deciding where to sing (the key goes up and down like a whores drawers). People I was with didn't notice anything wrong, but I did. Kudos for trying though. I am sure the problems will be ironed out

    * No "This I love". Bummer! I wanted to call the wife and let her here it, as she was pretty gutted she couldn't come with me. She is desperate to hear that song played live. Hopefully they will come back next year Wink

    * No Encore. Paradise City finished seconds before 11:30, so I am guessing they were on a curfew (else they would have worked the encore). The crowd were begging for more. Literally! Cries of "Please Guns N' Roses play some more" were all around me. Despite the lack of encore, there was a lengthy set. The people I went with were surprised at how long a GN'R show lasts!

    * I got T-Shirts. I will take pics tomorrow and upload them somewhere.
