Because he's accessible and friendly as shit...and people ask for an interview he basically says 'why not'? Interviewers don't need to go through 35 "yes men" (TB/Mommy) and publicist to get to him. Plus he likes the attention. Dude is accessible to a fault almost. and he tells it like it is...no carefully thought out cryptic responses or pre screened questions.

This. And a live era 2000-2014 would sell about 10 copies. You just know TB would use UYI Tour recordings to promote jt too. I'd rather listen to a Bieber Live Era album than "Nu Guns" live era. What a disaster it's been.

Axl can want a reunion all he wants- until TB/mommy sign off nothing is gonna happen. I'm half serious too. Axl can be thinking about it but he's got mommy/TB talking him out of it. "Evil Slash" etc...reminding him of how bad Slash is. And remember what Fernando boy said "my band".

He was great in Guns, his big smile etc....but drugs ruined his whole deal. Still like him and wish him the best, but no way he could survive a tour sober. Maybe a guest appearance at a gig or 2, that's it. Wouldn't be healthy for him.

And yeah- I doubt it's been 21 months sober. *I have no idea,. Don't know the dude, but just based on his track record.

He's just let himself go. Mommy making too much crap for him to eat. Dude needs to join a gym, lose that paunch, lose 2-3 of the chins and game on. Hope he does...he's Axl fucking Rose after all. Who (back in the day) woulda imagined he'd ever get so bloated and big. Look at the Bruces (Dickinson and Springsteen) or Tyler, Jon BonJovi, McCartney, Jagger, Daltrey- all looking physically good for their age and all older than Axl.

If Axl gets that fire back and starts to care he'll be physically and vocally ready to go kick some ass when they get back together.

Has Slash not done interviews since this? Or has no one followed up with him on this thawing in relations with Axl and him?

Marc- Slash' tour ends in Nov. He has an LA and an Anaheim show late next month. Any chance Axl will be a surprise or do you think any official on stage reunion will have to wait for the full blown GnR tour? I know you don't "know" but just your feeling/guess on that. Again- thanks!

Rehearse a catalog of say 50+ and play at least 10 different songs each night. Ya have to play the obvious, Jungle, SCOM, Patience, NR, PC, YCBM and more etc....but with the rest make 10-12 interchangeable each night. A solid 22 song set, 3-4 encore songs and of course have 3-4 audible's ready. And other the Street of Dreams we really don't need much else off of CD played. Maybe Better.

If anything is in the works I'm sure they (Slash esp) wants to keep it under wraps until his tour ends (late November?). It would be pretty anticlimactic for the remaining Slash dates if the Guns n Roses machine started pumping everyone up with excitement.
