  1. The Rock In Rio in 2015 will turn 30 then to commemorate the date in 2015 will be another edition in Brazil, another in a country in South America (Argentina are trading with, but not yet closed agreement) and an edition in Las Vegas in the first half of 2015, this edition vegas will be transmitted on the screens of Time Squere in New York. I think a good opportunity to redeem himself Axl's last performance at Rock N Rio 2011, but the interest would become greater if it did launch the new album and they came the edition in the same tour.

Thanks. That makes much more sense.

  2. Definitely not an excuse. He is just lazy

3-hour shows on a regular basis ≠ lazy.

He could be suffering from depression, he could be on meds that cause weight gain, he could have a thyroid problem, who the hell knows. We shouldn't judge without knowing the facts.

Didn't he say he's the happiest he's been in a long time? I think he just drinks too much and doesn't exercise.

  3. Groghan you're one of the weirdest people I've come across online. I am by far no Axl sympathizer but I understand how they feel more than how you feel. You come here pretty well every day and almost all your posts are serious about how you think the people who worship Axl are wrong and weird. Why do you care so very much how they feel? I don't get it. Are you jealous? Do you really think these people are so awful you need to post about these posters constantly? You're weird. You're wrong.

What's he jealous of again? People who make excuses for Axl's every move and praise his ever action and non action? Yeah that makes sense. It's super weird to find people who do that odd. Groghan adds a lot to the forum and is a big fan is Axl and the band. He's just not crazy like some people.

  4. I'm for a new album, but wouldn't pass up a fun night of rock n roll. If touring is happening in the U.S. again, I would like another residency. It was fun seeing the band members all over the place. And nothing beats leaving your hotel room and walking into the joint. I still wonder, who stole my damn AFD do not disturb sign. Hey Dariablue did you take it? No hard feelings.

 Nope, but given the opportunity I probably would have. I did get two though, but gave one to someone on this very forum.

  6. I love this show. Never understood all the bashing about the characters. I guess people will always find something to bitch about.

This show is in a precarious position in that some agree with its politics but laments the soapy nature of the love triangles and relationship drama. I'll admit that I wish they'd spend more time about the news and less concern over Mac and McAvoy, Jim and Maggie, Don and Sloan. My favourite moments are when McAvoy is tearing apart Republican hyperbole.

Then you have another contingent who despises the show for its "left" leaning bias. Season one was nothing but a ten episode of all things wrong with Republican and Tea Party. While I felt most of the critiques Sorkin makes of the conservative right are fair and for the most part spot on (with exception of calling the Tea Party the American Taliban - a little over the line), I do understand the gripe that some viewers have about letting Obama and the Democrats off the hook. I thought season two was a little more balance (though the show still went after Republicans with gusto - McAvoy's tearing into the primary candidates for not standing up for the gay soldier who was booed by a crowd in Florida was utterly brilliant), with the debate over the drone strike of an American a good topic to go into.

I felt Sorkin somewhat answered for his focus on Republicans in the last episode when McAvoy laments about what being a Republican means today (has to be homophobic, hate education, despise Democrats, doubt science). Mind you, he gave more fuel to those who take issue with the sappy quality that somewhat undermines the show by having McAvoy and Mack hook up. As much as the engagement didn't fit into the overall flow of the show, at least that story line didn't thread through the entire season.

But I really wish more people would watch this show. Especially die-heard conservatives and Republicans.

I agree to an extent, but you have to remember - it's a tv show. People are going to have a vested interest in the characters and their lives. People like Mac and Will as a couple and are rooting for them, people want Maggie to get her shit together, etc. Yes, it can be looked upon as soap opera-y, but if you focused just on the news stories and had the characters act merely as a backdrop I think that would hurt the show too.

  7. I never know how real these programs are but, my dad texted me to start watching and they found some Guns stuff, Including... Axl's Contract.

00:00 to 04:52 and it's not mentioned again until 19:10

Don't know why Axl would sign his contract as William Bailey as he already changed his name to Axl Rose, and if he didn't sign it with Axl Rose have probably would have signed it with Bill Bailey... maybe I'm wrong and we might finally know why no music is released :P

    Any thoughts on this?

Didn't that tie into a problem he had cashing his advance check from the record company?

That was because he hasn't legally changed his name.
