Okay, the finale of The Strain was last night.

Why is it that everytime a character tells another character "when this is all over", you know one of them will die. I was right.

I won't give anything away, but that little bastard caused the death of a character and did what I knew he would do the whole season! I hate that kid so much!

Of course, the show will be back for a 3rd season, so the good guys didn't get to kill or even hurt the master. I do like this show a lot, but I'm not sure how long I can wait until they kill the master, if they can at all?

Anyway, I guess we'll have to see what next season brings. All I know is that the good guys keep losing members and there doesn't seem to be a shortage of vampires.

I feel bad for Steven. I think he's the only original GNR member who really wants a reunion.

The other members have done many other things. Steven still seems to cling to the past. Can't blame him. I'm sure it was one of the best times of his life.

Loved LZ's albums but live they never played a lot of good songs.

The guitar solo went on forever as did the drum solo.

I saw them back in 1973 and although they sounded amazing, I felt they could have performed more songs on their albums then they did at the time.

Robert Plant looked totally hot!

Yeah, I figured the singer was supposed to be like the Pope. I saw one video that had nuns in it. don't like nuns. Went to Catholic school and most of the nuns were bitches. I always wanted to go back when I became an adult to confront them, but I never did. If they all went to Heaven, that sucks because some of them didn't deserve it.

I love the music I just hope they don't go crazy on the Satan stuff and put down Jesus. I don't like that.

Isn't that makeup that he wears and the ghouls wear the makes? Because the band is wearing new devil masks this time around.

He's wearing a mask under the makeup. Nothing as elaborate as the ghouls, just a latex old man mask so that you can't just match up his face through the makeup. He may witch up the mask when he "changes" identities, too, don't know. Here's a video with him just in the mask (as Papa II), without the makeup:

The change from album to album is just part of the schtick. Gives them an excuse to change looks, keep things exciting, and not let the gimmick get stale. No big important reason, it's just part of the performance art piece that is Ghost.

And for the record, most of the speculation is that the Nameless Ghoul who does all of their publicity is also the dude who plays Papa. Not confirmed, but people are pretty sure.

Cool the mask and makeup is awesome! Yeah, my son knew it was the same singer. I was like thanks for letting me know! lol Anyway, so excited to see Ghost in two weeks. I was at a Frightmare convention a few years ago when we met Corey Taylor from Slipknot. They had a panel for Fear Clinic. Unfortunately it ran long and Ghost made an appearance. People told us they came through with security went to Linda Hamilton from Terminator hugged her and took pictures. Not sure if she knew who the hell they were. Anyway, we missed them walking through the convention. They also had a Dallas show that night. I just thought it was cool that they actually came to the convention and took some pictures with fans. But they actually came through pretty fast. I'm sorry I missed them.

The other night in Dallas they showed the Jake the Snake movie that Diamond Dallas Page helped Jake get back to health.

My kids went and met Jake and DDP. They were super nice and took pictures with them.

My daughter said Jake was so inspirational when talking to his fans. He said never give up the fight to get healthy and well.

I always liked Jake the Snake, I'm so glad he's well again.

Now they are asking all the politicians running for President what they would do to stop this?

There is nothing you can do that will protect everyone 100% of the time.

Even if you have armed guards in all the schools, there's no guarantee that it would stop these crazy people.

I know living in Dallas, there's not much security anywhere. I mean you can go into a movie theatre or a mall and no one is looking at anyone's handbags or backpacks at all.

The DWF airport doesn't even have the people who give you the tickets for parking anymore. you could easily drive a car there and leave it and no one would know anything.

It's a scary world we live in. It sucks but face it, there is no way to stop everyone who plans on doing something evil.

I can't imagine what these family members are going through. To lose a child has to be the worse thing in the world.

And that teacher who saved his students and lost his life, what a brave man he was.

Just started reading the last Jackie Collins book "Santangelos"

This might be the last book Jackie will ever write. I'm hoping she made some notes for a new book, but nothing has been said.

I love reading Jackie's books. They are always good to read when you want to get away from your daily life! She was a master at guilty pleasure books.

I'm hoping that Axl, Slash, Duff and Izzy are in talks to do a tour.

I think if the original members reunite even for a short time, they just play like they did back in 1988.

Just the band singing without any other fancy stuff. I think that would be awesome.

the band should do all of AFD and then after the 90 minute show, tell the fans how the band will work on new music and then do a world tour in 2016.

I know, I'm way off, but how fantastic would that be?

Steel Panther Dallas December 14 in House of Blues

Damn. Good album. Never gave these guys much of a chance but I really like the sound. Their other stuff this good?

I have been listening to the album released before this one. It's good, but I think this album is way better.

It's amazing how all the singers this band gets sound so much alke.

I think the songs on the new cd are way better and the music parts are so haunting and soothing at the same time.

There is a new video on youtube.com for "From the Pinecale to the Pit. My spelling is horrible, but the video is way cool.

I got them. I think it might be in Japan, but it was the UYI tour concerts. A must have for GNR fans.

Dvr 'd it for my granddaughter and we watched it together. I honestly didn't like it. Never liked Miss Piggy and she's just hateful in this version. I loved the show from the 80's and it's nothing like it.

Saw a preview last night Can't wait. I remember watching and loving this show before it got popular. It was on a Friday night and I guess no one watched it. I did from the beginning and loved it. Can't wait for January when the new season begins. It looks like Scully might be in a mental hospital and Mulder goes to get her.

Actually no. My daughter described every little detail. Glad I didn't see it. Cannibalism is one thing that freaks me out and from the way it was told to me, there were some very gruesome parts. If this movie was supposed to make people want to save the rain forest, they are going to think twice about it. lol

Don't think I've seen any of this guy's movies, all I know about him is he hired #demented to do the score to one of his projects so that's not a very good indicator.

I liked Hostel and Hostel 2, but like I said can't watch Eli's movies more than the one time. Too many gory scenes and hopelessness and I hate that. And some of the characters are likeable and I hate that they have to suffer endless torture and then die. hated that he killed the first guy in HOstel 2.

I have loved this song since I first heard it on the famous MTV awards show. The melody and the words are amazing. Not sure what it's about, but I just love it. it's a very passionate song. This was the song I was most anxious to hear when CD was released.
