  1. It does not look bad. It looks like a 50 year old. We all age in different ways. He looks fine for someone who is 50 and who is a rockstar. Hell, he looks more healthy than a lot of non-rockstar 50 year olds. Sometimes, you get wrinkles as you age. It happens. He's 50.

I don't think it's necessary to incessantly make negative comments about Axl's looks. Just my opinion. We're here to talk about the band and the music, not turn this into cosmopolitan for men gnr edition.

No dude, there's what appears to be a hole in the middle of his neck:

So will you feel guilty for being so determinedly critical of his voice, if that turns out to be some sort of scar? Be honest now.

    Of course.

But I already said weeks ago that if he has some medical condition, he should come clean and take care of himself instead of touring.

If he has a Tracheotomy hole...he should not be performing.

  3. Try a little experiment with people that aren't big gnr fans.Play something from the old Tokyo shows or other old gnr live vids on youtube from the old band, then show them some of the vids from this show.Any guesses to what most of those people would say sounds better vocally?

I think some people might chose this one. From the camera angle you get a really good mix of vocals with good reverb off of the back of the venue and thousands of fans singing along. In Tokyo you have a direct sound source and Axl's voice was pretty shot at that show if I remember. I remember Axl's voice being a little shot at that Tokyo show.

    You have problems.

  4. Yeah, dude's insane. I feel sorry for him. When you ask a simple question and the guy gives you 4 answers then you need to start thinking "there's something wrong with this person".

When someone needs to barf out multiple paragraphs of nonsense to convince THEMSELVES that they're right about something, there's a severe problem there.

  5. I love how some of you spew shit about Axls voice being terrible as if it's fucking fact.

It's you opinion, and that is all.

    Are you deaf?

No I am not, but I think some of the people crying for over the top rasp are.

    Excuses, excuses.

"He used too much rasp anyways" is the new norm for Axl defenders.

When Axl's performing while sitting-down in 20 years you'll be saying "I never liked it when he could walk onstage anyways".

You have a ladyboner for a washed-up rockstar. Get over yourself.

  6. I agree, but only to a point. I've seen GN'R 8 times now... in Vegas, twice in a row.. I don't really get "caught up" so much anymore. I know what Axl sounds like when he sounds bad and I'm objective enough to admit when he does; but the last two nights at Vegas he sounded really good. The first few shows, yeah, he didn't sound great; but suggesting that he should retire because his voice is "awful"? Give me a break... he's a long way off that.

Link me some videos where he sounds good at Vegas.

    ...I'm still waiting

EDIT: And of course those are videos that you shot and uploaded yourself.

    Cute. Way to stay objective.
