  1. Just finished Heaven's Door, I could swear some of you guys are fuckin' nuts, that was a great rendition.

thats what i was saying, but i only saw it once and haven't the rest of the live videos. is it always like that? with Fortus doing what ever that was.

There are a few retards on here claiming that the band looked resigned to the fact that they aren't GNR. What?? They were demonstrating their creative abilities between every song.

Finished up Paradise City, again, another very enjoyable performance.

I guess NGOG your standards are pretty low LOL Here is 1000000000000000 better performance of that song:

It was 22 years ago man.

And still possible today if Axl cared more of his voice/looks..

  3. Bono-

If it's the final nail in the coffin, same thing maybe it's time to move on for you. All your posts are the same shit, reunion, axl sucks, blabla, current gnr is a joke, blablabla, bono at the oscars, blabla.

I'm ok with the free speech or whatever, but can you just for a once say something nice, or just be realistic. It's over? Well, People at the show seemed to love it, and the show has great reviews. People still seem to care about this line up, and still want to see Axl no matter how good or bad his voice is.

Honestly dude STFU and call a spade a spade. What you're pissed about isn't me saying what I say it's that what I say is flat out fucking truth. deal with it.

Agreed Bono...Do you remember when Axl said in one of his rants that "Don't let anyone get in your way. Including me."? Well here I am not letting anyone getting in my way with my own opinions like you Bono..RESPECTS!!! Here is the rant..start at 2.45

I want to see Axl too..If he comes to my country with his hired hands I will go see him but ONLY him..I don't care about the other guys..

  5. You could feel it even from just watching the video. This was a band performing knowing full well they are not what they are presenting themselves to be. It's time to shut it down, let these insanely talented musicians go free and actually do something with their careers and then when Slash is done with this round of his solo career ask him if he'd like to reunite for one last go. If he's not down with it then fuck it. THIS version of Guns is finished. It's a sad pathetic state of affairs and nobody gives a flying fuck anymore. Even the most diehard Axl supporters must see by now it's reunion or bust. I mean honestly.

I've said this millions of times but seems like not many realize this and the current state of things...Those talented musicians are wasting their career and life with this nostalgic touring...It is apparent that no new music is coming..Unless they do it just for the money :shrugs:

No one is denying that old guns was legendary. The disagreement lies in whether a reunion of that lineup would be legendary. I think it would be absolutely pathetic.

One can always try atleast..How bad could it be compared to the current lineup? What you got to lose for atleast trying it and see how it goes from there?

I only care for new music (not old guys trying to recreate their youth or cash in on old achievements), and the way I see it the possibility of new music is much higher with the current lineup than with a reunion lineup. The current lineup was created to advance GN'R, to be a future of GN'R, and although this hasn't worked out like we hoped, yet, giving in now is just weak. I would also lose a lot of respect for Axl if he were to cave-in and reunite despite his grudges. It would mean that he was all about the cash.

You know what Soulmonster...reunion is not about the money..It's about something else and doing it for the fans who have supported you through out the years..The fact is GnR would have not existed without the fans!!

  6. I don't know what to tell you so, maybe it's time to move on for you.

It was Axl Rose's night, and people here still blame him. I think he had some issues during Jungle-Better-This I Love, but after he kicked ass imo.

Look at the crowd the whole night, then look at the crowd during GNR. Huge difference, GNR is simply in another league. The band is killing it.

I'm reunionist, GnR purist and oldGnR fan so maybe that's the issue for me :shrugs:

I'm ok with that. You know, I miss the old band too, but when I'm looking at Richard, Frank or Bumble, I'm happy with that, because they are insane musicians too. And duff was there! And we've got a pro-shot!

I just don't know why people think that's sad or catastrophic. It was a decent, and enjoyable night.

I'm still bitter about the whole breakup...Been bitter for 20 years now LOL I just hope and pray that Axl realize that the old GnR was legendary in every way...It's still not too late for reunion..

  8. It's not gonna happen man. This is coming from someone who'd love it and would camp out a week ahead of time for tickets. It's sad and it's a shame. But a reunion is never going to happen. Ever.

    Where is your faith??

I'm just as unhappy about it as the next guy.

But Axl's stubborn, relentless hatred for Slash is unbreakable. Add the leeches who keep telling him he's completely right about everything as fuel to the fire, and it's clear he'll never snap out of it.

    He's never gonna budge.

Maybe if Duff would speak some reason to Axl? I think Duff thinks it's a sad thing that Slash and Axl are not in speaking terms...But I also think that Duff doesn't want to get involved between them or perhaps is "afraid" to tell his mind about the whole situation :shrugs:

  9. Axl was a machine. A destructive, nonstop, whirlwind of emotion. He was the embodiment of everything rock n' roll stood for. The angry, repressed, emotional kid from the Midwest who wanted to "stick it to the man". He was the voice of a generation of head-banging, tattooed, social outcasts. He didn't stand up on stage and sing some songs on key. He didn't wear hot pink spandex pants and lipgloss. He screamed and ranted and damn near spontaneously combusted every show. Totally felt the energy and went with it. He never got up there and did anything that looked like he rehearsed his "cool face" in front of a mirror (ahem....*cough* Bret Michaels). He was just who he was, dynamic, indestructible, volatile, passionate, and he gave every person in the audience every single ounce of himself. You had to love him or hate him and the best part was, he didn't fucking care which one you picked. 1987-1993 Axl was untouchable.

I know I'm old (41) and Axl's time has passed....but this passion is why I'm still here (in GnR world). God damn-

1 minute in, and I'm like, get to the point, man!

Meanwhile, I've got the horns up, screaming "Preach, motherfucker!"

This Axl Rose is a legend
