Wow, a bit insulting to the real fans, imo. The ones who actually pay for their tickets and merch, and wait in line for hours to get close to the stage.
Kinda sad that they now need to pay models to hang out with them and party like groupies backstage. Guess they're not happy with the quality of people who are buying the VIP packages.

Oh! This is so sad!
I'm going to miss this place... Even if I didn't always agree with everything that was said here, I really enjoyed reading the posts!
So thanks for your hard work to all the Mygnr team. People who stand for their point of views are people who deserve respect. (That's probably why I like GNR/Axl so much, that goes for other people too)
Thanks Ron/Bumblefoot for your kind word. (That was a really a cool thing to do for all the fans on Mygnr)

Sorry but I have to disagree with you... since when musketeers are mercenaries?? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Three_Musketeers They were the king's personal guard for what I know....
The subtitle is "Les Trois Mercenaires", not "Les Trois Mousquetaires"...
Oops my bad...
Désolée j'crois que j'ai fumé la moquette...j'ai lu à chaque fois les trois mousquetaires!

Well, to be fair, it was a Guitar magazine interview. The biggest guitar magazine in France though.
The article starts something like "Is a Slash-less GnR still GnR ? Considering the audiences' reaction to this tour, yes !" but it insists that Slash's style could not be replaced though Axl picked three extremely talented guitarists with broad and different styles to try and venture in another artistic direction. The articles urges its readers to give Chinese another spin ( because according to the writer "it's solid") and call the band "Axl & Prodigies" if that's what it takes for them to enjoy it for what it is.
However, the subtitle of the article is clearly "The Mercenaries".
It's a very good interview though and the guy who asked the question clearly knows about them because he asks some very precise questions ( about Richard being a violin player etc... ).

They do say that Slash isn't replaceable by only one guitarist and that it was a brilliant idea to get three very talented guitarists to replace him...

Real, ppl were rude to not only Ron,but also axl,and fernando, some of the comments made on this forum and others are uncalled for
Words hurt and wound sometimes, and don't assume I'm speaking for anyone except myself
I 100% agree with that.
I guess reading forums is like reading mind, you sometimes see wonderfull sweet things...at other times things you shouldn't read!

I'd be surprised too!
Why only France? Or another "VIP" one...
(Moi tous les gens que j'ai croisé après le show à Bercy etaient très content de leur concert!! )

Pink? (This is rather funny because the French word for "Pink" is "Rose"...)

Newsflash: Most of you wouldn't get invited to a private show if it was held in your own city.
Well why would they?
Just like you wouldn't invite them to your private party knowing they wouldn't come anyway....

Happy Birthday, Axl!
I'd like to write you today a real
cool message! Different from everything I've
ever written or spoken to you. A message with no mistakes nor one single
drop of sadness to blur the letters. That, when you read it, your heart
beats faster, your eyes shine brighter and your lips smile as never before.
A simple but spontaneous letter, that will make you a little bit happier! I'd
like to fill your "e-mail" with flowers, with stars, with smiles and with all
sorts of meaningful words you deserve. I'd like to put in it all the hearts
that love you unconditionally. I really want all this, because I wish you well.
To be original, I didn't buy you a present. Everything is always the same …
So, I decided to give something nobody else can give you, because it
cannot be found in a store, doesn't fit in an envelope and doesn't exist in
the card selection of the web: my birthday present! It's the most precious
thing I have, because it is a little bit of myself. It's a little key that opens
the safe inside me, where you may find all that is pure, true, sacred and
personal. This little key is not of gold, but has immense value because it
comes wrapped with the earnest desire of seeing you always happy,
without ever being a burden on you, if you wish, you may call it "Friendship "
(or, even more appropriately, "Love")
Let the happiness I wish you today be with you ever and ever! How good
it is that you exist. How nice it is that you're important to me. And how
wonderful it is to be in the list of those you care for. If you didn't
exist in my life, there would be an enormous emptiness inside me,
in time and in the world! I am sure that God himself
endorses, smilingly, all that I have just written …I love you and your music … Kisses!!
Happy Birthday to you!!!

I gathered the contradiction was intentional.
It is a pretty brutal anthem, but at least you make us English look a bit better for our "crush those rebellious scots" verse!
What I can't understand is why on "The Simpsons" they use the French anthem as the theme music for whenever the Simpsons go to England?
Really? I've never noticed that! My boyfriend is a big Simpson fan...I hope he didn't choose me because of my name! LOL
This good old French/English battle. My brother lives in england and my nevew speak english better than French....

I was wondering why the beatles used a piece of "La Marseille" at the beginning of their song. I know it's supposed to be romantic. Have you ever take a look at the lyrics?? http://www.marseillaise.org/english/others.html
It's a WAR song!! Not a love song, I know Paul MacCartney speaks a little French he certainly knew that!
La marseillaise fits better a hard rock song than a love song!!
I just wanted to know your point of view....

Yes it was unfair. Dexter was here first. :-) Now they're both really cute but I admit I like Dijon better.
