Thank God!
Ok, putting all this censorship talk aside, we should admit that every thread created about the supposed leaks always ended up promoting MSL in some kind of way. Everybody was talking good or bad of MSL, but everybody was, actualy, talking about MSL. And seriously, I always come here to read about GNR and not about an attention whore with too much time in his hands to spread BS and intrigues, with zero credibility, about the band.
At least for me, MSL didn't prove anything with all that rumor talk. He may have delivered in the past, but now, he was only manipulating everyone for self-promotion. If we keep talking about him, we're gonna keep feeding his lies...
IMO, its time to let it die (at least, until another guy show up claiming he has some leak or inside info and all the drama start again... ).

"Ain't it fun" instantly came to my mind when I saw the title of this thread, but, being a readers pick list, obviously it had to be KOHD.
Lots of other singers/bands have already recorded this song (even Avril Lavigne recorded it, if my memory serves me right), and I never understood why people love so much KOHD (one of my least favs of Guns BTW).
Recently it's being hard for me to understand "the common sense's choices" on this kind of lists. :xmassrudolph:
QFT man! Ain't It Fun is violently awesome! lol-- I think The Spaghetti Incident got a bad rap. I can imagine the disappointment at the time of the release or shortly there after-- It's a shame that the last album with Duff, Slash and Axl together is a cover album-- But still it's badass.
I'm starting to get a little too repetitive, but I can't explain the reason why I love so much this song.
Actualy, I was listening to it some hours ago.

Be patient.
I try to think that everything happens for a reason, everything happens when it's going to happen.
After all, everything that comes from GNR worth the wait and I discovered some other great bands while I was waiting for CD.
But, yeah, I hope it won't take another 15 years...

No Alice In Chains-Dirt? No Soundgarden??
+1 WTF?!!
BTW, GNR should have been ranked higher IMO.

Would - AIC
Ain't it fun - GNR
I've already listened to these songs hundreds of times over the years, but never feel I have to skip over them.
Lately, I've been listening to The Day That Never Comes (Metallica) and Fell On Black Days (Soundgarden) a lot.

This one gets me every time
+1 I never get sick of Soothsayer.
I think Jordan is pretty good too.

Last year was insane! You and the guys sure did honor the band's name, showing how to rock out to the world!
I hope we can see more from GNR soon.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AXL! May you have many more!
Long live GNR!

Seeing GNR live in Porto Alegre
Chinese Democracy release
12 december 2008
Everybody searching like crazy for a video or pic of Taipei concert
The first time I heard a GNR leak in 2006. It was CITR and I was so excited (I recorded the song and everything, but wrote "Cather" In The Rye on top of the CD. duh )
-
C'mon, what's the matter with these people!
It was almost a year ago, couldn't they just overcome the delay?
I felt compensated in the same time GNR started the concert.
Five hours were nothing for the people that have been waiting some fuckin' years to see the band live.

Good work gunsguy. It looks real nice.
Merry Christmas everyone! :xmasssanta:

Nothing wrong with that article.
I really don't get it - everybody cries for Axl to say something and everytime he does people just complain that it's boring or there's not enough info. Can't please everybody I suppose. Just be happy that he's talking at all. \
Anyays, sounds like the band gets along good backstage - lots of joking around, having fun. Nice to hear.

I think it was a cool chat.

Ok, here's my little contribution for the tree :xmassrudolph:

After having listened to both, I gotta say DJ's has a lot more character, while Slash's was to straightforward and uncreative. I even had my brother listen to both without letting him know who was playing and he still preferred DJ's.
I've already listened to better versions, but between these two, I definitely vote DJ.

It really did feel like Christmas had come early for me that day :xmasssanta:
Congrats CD!

It was back in the summer of 2001, everybody was talking about Rock In Rio, the bands that would play (especially GNR),
the Queens of the Stone Age bassist that performed naked, 'N SyncX5ive, Britney and all those crappy brazilian bands.
I was watching RIR every day, just for fun. I didn't like any of these guys, but my mom was waiting for GNR.
At the end of the GNR concert my mom was like "oh my, what happened with Axl", and I was "wow, finally a band that worth a listen"
So I searched n' bought the albums and couldn't stop to listening to them.
I literally wrecked my AFD and CD Player after playing GNR so many times (Having dropped them on the ground helped too, but, fortunately, there's MP4 now )
I searched the internet for band members, history, news and that's how I became a fan. It's still pretty cool to see the GNR logos I used to draw on my old textbooks...

Ain´t it fun.
One of my favs of all the albuns.

I'm not a fanatic, but since GNR is present for some quite significant time in my life, I can't deny it's important for me.
I have lots of memories related with GNR songs too, so at least, an 8.
-
Wow! This is one of the best songs for live performances IMO.

its hard for normal people to comprehend but ive been in phases where waking up at 8pm felt about as reasonable as 3am.
Night person here, been working nightshifts all my life, suffering from sleeping disorders and its effects whenever I'm forced into a day schedule, so I understand all the personal, social and time mangement problems that come with this just perfectly. For everyone else you are an alien and they are like "look, that fucker is sleeping all day while we are working" but they don't see you working all night while they are sleeping. It is what it is, no point educating people about it, but when you've got to get your shit together you've got to get your shit together.
Same here.
Goin' to bed too early is almost impossible for me. Nightshifts are the best, the tough part is being able to keep working next morning...

I just feel that way right now and need to share : this is the best concert I've ever been to and if to a lot of people it's not really Guns n' Roses, it's still the best rock band in the world to me, and by a LARGE margin.
+1
Great review! Thanks for sharing your experience

That's the reason why I never get sick of GNR.

I agree with you.
Plus, MSL don't need a fan forum to leak his stuff, he can do it anytime, anywhere. I'm curious to know why he still didn't leaked all those "shocking infos" he claims to have. If you think you're so amazing leaking personal e-mails of band members (you're the "new Assange"), have some balls: do it and be prepared for the consequences. If you don't want to leak it, just shut up! Stop with all those: "Hey, look at me! I will gonna leak GNR stuff!".
I will only believe it when I see it with my own eyes, until then it's BS (and after a month, all this BS it's really getting tiring).
