A good friend of mine attended Sturgis. He said that GNR was great but that AIC played better overall
Did they really play Get Born Again? If so, that's some rare shit, I've never seen them playing that song live before. I wish I was there.

The way this woman wrote Axl and AIC is disturbing.

I knew that motorcycle seat seemed familiar.
92 VMA's, looks like it is the same thing he used then.
Oh my God, the bike is a part of GnR history, that makes it awesomer.
+1
Pretty cool seat.

Some very overrated people up there and some underrated ones that didn't even make it to the list (Layne Staley, James Hetfield just to name a few).
Anyways, this is just their opinion, and, afterall, personal tastes are like asses: everyone should mind their own... too bad RS didn't wipe theirs.
Layne Staley,
James Hetfield though? C'mon I like Metallica but he doesn't belong anywhere near a greatest singer list-AHH
Yeah, I know that some people wouldn't put James in the list, but I did because everytime I hear the word "heavy/trash metal" he is the first singer that comes to my mind. Just my opinion though.

Since everybody in my family is a GNR fan and wanted to go to the show, the tickets expenses were high (R$1400 for 5 premium tickets for a single show).
But since going to a GNR show was a long-time dream of mine, I had some savings for the occasion. And I don't regret spending it all: it was totally worth it.
I was a bit afraid of the show being cancelled at first, but in the end everything went well and I had the time of my life.
But, yeah, maybe this is just a matter of personal taste. I wouldn't show up in a live performance of a band that I don't like - even if the tickets were for free!

The thing I like the most about my birthday is the fact that is also AFD birthday
Happy Birthday AFD!
Happy Birthday to both of you!!!
Here's to many more years to come of rocking out to one of the greatest albums ever...Appetite For Destruction.
Haha, thanks. I have spent many of my birthdays watching GNR's and AFD's specials in TV, it was cool. One of the greatest albums ever no doubt.

I used to listen to AFD back to back till the tape wore out. I still listen to it prolly more than any other album I have. No other music has come close to moving me in quite the same way.
I listen to a lot of music mainly guitar rock but anything from the Kinks to Korn.
You kinda reminded me about what happened with my first AFD CD.
The optical layer detached itself from the rest of the CD. I have never seen something like that before.

GNR was the only thing I listened to in a long time, that was after I discovered their songs in Rock In Rio 3.
But, I eventually found another bands that I liked and thanks to that I started listening to a lot of other stuff too.
Now I don’t have any more patience to listen to GNR balads, but GNR is still on my all time top 3. Axl is my (livin’) favorite singer/frontman btw.

I've got a wicked demon here somehow never fades
I've got an empty feeling
I won't be home today
You thought they'd make me
Behave and submit
What were you thinking
'Cause I don't forget
(But I think that Sorry lyrics are a complete masterpiece).
But every time I see them
Makes me wish I had a gun
If I thought that I was crazy
Well I guess I'd have more fun
If my intentions are misunderstood
(I like this line since the first time I listened to it).

Oh shit!
I remember that! that was a hell of a night.I have never had so much fun in my life! even though I endured 17 hours without eating anything and another 14 hours
standing still (straight!), it took me 3 days to be able to walk properlly again!
(Guess that kills my nostalgic moment...)

The only thing I do hope is that it's nothing related with him staying on the band. It's GNR after all.

Looks like you had an unforgettable week!
Congrats

The more I follow GNR the less I try to understand them, but, yeah I'll still support those guys cuz they are one of the few decent bands around (and I'll never lose hope of listening to a new GNR song :xmasssanta: ).
I just hope that justice is served in this case.

Nice interview from Bumble, it has some interesting points.

G String Groove Thing.
The drums are a bit wacky, but I like the riff that is literally played on the G string

If I could, I would choose AIC too.
At least in my head it would be a great combination. I love them both.
In 2006, in The Netherlands, Alice In Chains and Stone Sour were the opening acts for GNR.
It must have been awesome, but I was thinking about how it would be with the GNR current lineup.
(man, it would be a reunion of some of my favorite guitar players)

Shackler's, cause it has way more energy live and Sorry just because I like this song.

Great video!
I didn't know there's a painting on top of the piano. Looks like it's a piece of a foot.

I love AIC too, but I don't think that their concert was as big as GNR's (eventhough I've never been in an AIC concert, I have only seen the videos).
Quote from AIC forum:
Sounds like G-n-R gets top billing!
