  1. Mama Kin. I was expecting to see Slash come up for a song and surprise, it was Izzy. I think it's a good sign that Izzy is showing up and coming on stage more often. Maybe he will start doing some gigs again. Sorry I didn't shoot the gig so no photos

This is from Slash's twitter. I guess he was going and did Rockline instead.

Bummed I missed Aerosmith tonight. iiii]; ('

    Damn it!

    Exactly!!

  3. MSL, a guy who loves facts and truth, writes on a public forum things that are neither facts or truth. Talk about irony.

strawman bullshit. such weak cowardly tactics. i'm right here motherfucker. no need for vague empty rhetoric. my posts are there for you to respond to. why do you favor ignoring my points and continuing to resort to empty and meaningless mockery?

Lighten up man it is just RNR!

  4. It's great to see an interview with Axl but as usual nothing is his fault! He is 50 years old and acts like he is 12. Until he can face reality he will never be free of the past. It is also good to know that sooner of later there will be new music, probably later though.

  5. American hard rock band Guns N' Roses, behind international hits like November Rain, Don't Cry, and Catcher In The Rye

1st How is the current band exactly behing NR and Don't Cry???

2nd Since when is CITR an international hit?

    Shit article.

    1. There is no "current" Guns N' Roses. There is just Guns N' Roses.

    2. CITR is a fan favourite. Too bad Guns N' Roses doesn't play it more often...

    1. Wrong. Current "GNR" has nothing to do with those songs or the famous band.

    2. LOL. People were like "Duh... What song is this?" in the GNR shows I've been to. Don't kid yourselves. Cool song. But no international hit.

    1. That's your opinion. Too bad it is a misinformed one..

    2. You saw Catcher more than once live? Which shows were you at when they played Catcher? I was at Toronto 2010 and the crowd loved it.

    1. So please elaborate, what do those 2 bands have in common?

2 actually I haven't but like you said. Different opinions.

    1. They are both Guns N' Roses. Different members but still Guns N' Roses. They both have the founder in common as well.

    2. So you lied then? That's great....

The band had 5 founding members. Not one. did they write the GNR hits? Is it a legal thing again?

Actually Slash, Duff and Adler were hired by Axl and Izzy. Nice try though...

Thanks again for showing us the losers that comprised the band before Slash, Duff and Steven help put it on the map. Good old Traci and Ole did not even have enough faith to make a trip to Seattle for a gig. And btw when Slash,Duff and Steven join the band Axl and Izzy did not have a pot to pee in let alone hire them.

  6. It's so weird that you refer Joe Perry as "the guitarist" and you have to you have to specify that Steven Tyler is the lead singer of Aerosmith :D. I'm not dissing you or trying to be disrespectful. But, as a life-long Aerosmith-fan, it just sounds weird :D. Cause they're frigging Joe Perry and Steven Tyler! :D

But on topic, cool! Always nice to hear/read/see these kind of news. :)

Heh.. to be fair I didn't know the name of either. I just happend to Google Aerosmith lead singer (to obtain his name). I could have done the same for the guitarist.. Steven Tyler seemed quite happy to be on the show promoting, where as Joe Perry came acroos like it was all part and part of the job, the side that probably don't interest him so much..

Joe is always like that! He always acts like he wants to be any where but where he is. lol. I'm a major Aerosmith fan and seeing Joe and Steven together is always a trip. It's been 40 years for them, they act like an old married couple.

  7. great news. some posters here considered slash doing talk shows "selling out". and now that's axl everything's fine. lol.

You're just a bitter little cupcake! :takethat:

It is not selling out or media whoring on Slash's part or Axl's. It's called promoting their work and Axl should have been doing it all along. Hopefully he will do more intervews.

  8. It's retarded how well their voices go together when they harmonize.

As for why Myles? Because he's awesome. That range of his is undeniable.

Most bands, even established ones are lucky if they have 1 half decent vocalist for live performances. Slash has 2 great ones that compliment each other really well.

    this!!!
