  1. Even though it isn't my favorite MJ album, I'm going with Thriller on this one. I just think it's better. Never got in to Prince too much... :shrugs:

Agreed, Bad is far superior. But Prince just makes me cringe.

hmm.. what songs of those makes you cringe? Prince is one of those artists who has at least ONE song any individual can connect to

if Rasberry Beret isn't your cup of tea, check out his song Bambi rock3

  2. Alice in Wonderland is FANTASTIC. I swear, just throw away your misconceptions and go to the threatre and enjoy the ride. Johnny Depp is insannnnityy

Finally got to see The Breakfast Club in media studies. I usually hate movies which stay in one setting, but I loved it. The 80'sness of it is just awesome.

Great movie, the stripped raw 80s atmosphere is a breath of fresh air this day in age.

  3. That's a good question.

And not really for me, if the music is good that's the hook for me, the cool cover art, thick booklets, that's all just a bonus.

That's not what I'm asking though. I'm asking, if you see a cover that appeals to you a lot, does it or will it influence you to check out the band or album? Of course it's the music that matters, but do covers make you want to listen to something more? Sometimes they do for me.

it's like would you instinctively go up and talk to an attractive woman or an ugly one... ofcourse looks sway sales & first impressions. plus it's a huge marketing gambit, artists cater to their audiences that they want to draw in. you won't see an alice cooper cover with a daisy on it.

  4. By the way I hope this drinking is just a bit of fun and not a problem

It's hard to say for sure since we really don't know what else he does, where he goes, etc. beyond this tour. But the fact that the article says he hasn't hit NYC this hard since 2006 makes me think he's just having fun till the tour resumes.

    :rofl-lol:

You guys certainly worry about pointless stuff!

Yeah cause health is something to completely undermine

i think having a considerate thought like that shows the division between fans- there's those who genuinely wish well for the man, and then there's those who are selfishly concerned on whether or not the show (his voice) will go on

I'm not subjecting you to either one, just on a general note

Axl is clearly 20 pounds over weight and pushing 50. The fact that he's out there acting like a perfectly fit 21 year old college student isn't very encouraging news. Sure, he can do whatever he wants but that just tells me he really doesn't give a fuck about his weight and/or health.

I quit drinking at 29 for the sake of health so I couldn't imagine doing it at 48.

You are clearly still a virgin. The fact that you're here complaining about what other people do with THEIR life isn't very encouraging news. Sure, you can do whatever you want but that just tells me that you don't give a fuck about enjoying life.

No, I've done my partying. I've been down Slash's road of near death "fun". Ask Duff if the shit is "fun" and see what he says.

Personally, I don't understand how you or anyone else can say they enjoy life, while at the same time trying their best to snuff it out or degrade it's quality. That's like saying you love your CD collection but then strapping each disc, face down, to the bottoms of your feet and walking on them all day.

Seems kind of ass backwards imo.

    Got that right.

  6. Heck yeah he's amazing.. and has deeply influenced some of my all time favorites -Angus Young and Slash. He embodies funky rock n roll blues. Incredible you got the chance to see him! Thats a real treat & learning experience for any musician
