Finally got to see The Breakfast Club in media studies. I usually hate movies which stay in one setting, but I loved it. The 80'sness of it is just awesome.

Great movie, the stripped raw 80s atmosphere is a breath of fresh air this day in age.

And not really for me, if the music is good that's the hook for me, the cool cover art, thick booklets, that's all just a bonus.

That's not what I'm asking though. I'm asking, if you see a cover that appeals to you a lot, does it or will it influence you to check out the band or album? Of course it's the music that matters, but do covers make you want to listen to something more? Sometimes they do for me.

it's like would you instinctively go up and talk to an attractive woman or an ugly one... ofcourse looks sway sales & first impressions. plus it's a huge marketing gambit, artists cater to their audiences that they want to draw in. you won't see an alice cooper cover with a daisy on it.

It's hard to say for sure since we really don't know what else he does, where he goes, etc. beyond this tour. But the fact that the article says he hasn't hit NYC this hard since 2006 makes me think he's just having fun till the tour resumes.

Personally, I don't understand how you or anyone else can say they enjoy life, while at the same time trying their best to snuff it out or degrade it's quality. Heck yeah he's amazing.. and has deeply influenced some of my all time favorites -Angus Young and Slash. He embodies funky rock n roll blues. Incredible you got the chance to see him! Thats a real treat & learning experience for any musician
