  1. it's fake

no, its not. one of the biggest promoters in canada is reporting it, radio stations are reporting it. its happening, deal with it.

I want to believe it is happenning but i am just saying i have been told it is fake :shrugs: but then i don't know who to believe these days!!

  2. The new album should be released on 14th september accoring to the My Muse forum

damn bet me to it.......was just about to post the release date.

what muse forum do you go on?

i some times drop by MuseLive.com for my muse news.

    :D

I have an account at that forum too but the 1 i tend to post on is Muse.mu.

    Muse home page

When you set up your forum profile you can change the skins which is cool-Muse themed and album artwork backgrounds(Hey-small things please small minds!! :D

If you join it just make sure on your profile edit page that you click to join the mailing list at the bottom of the options-thats how i got my presale link, they only send them to people on the mailing list. :)

  3. You can't judge a band based on their fanbase.

Well said  and so true...

i don't see how someone can state a bands fanbase consists of mainly 12 year olds anyway-that is most definatly not the case where muse are concerned.they seem to appeal to a wide range of ages.I am 34,and i know lots of others on the Muse forum who are older.I always thought there music was quite accomplished.

since Super Massive Blackhole was in the Twilight movie there has been alot of younger people (12 year olds) getting into Muse, which is obviously where that guy who said that gets his ideas from. Muse appeals to a wide range of ages.

    im 20 and love Muse.

    P.S.

juadlu you got me in the mood to change my sig.

i think they will top there last album, they always seem to be able to pull off something new and fresh with every album.

Yes i think Twighlight has a lot to do with it-my daughter and she is aged(dare i say the magic number- 12)!!! loves Twighlight and THAT song but doesn't listen to any other Muse.

no release date set yet......should be late August early September.

Can't wait and i love your new sig!!! I am so in the spirit for this gig rock3

  4. cant wait for the new album, MUSE are one of my top fav. bands (reason behind my screen name). Cant wait for the tour to come to Australia.

New MUSE album + New Arctic Monkeys album = :D

BH & R's was an amazing album,i can't imagine how they can beat it-but i have a snaeky suspiscion they will

Apparently there will be some full orchestral work in there, and the occasional political view- i wonder when it is due for release?

Hopefully once the album is out there they will do some more 2010 dates cause i want to see them again.

  5. Then I can add MUSE to my list!

And bye for some hours, now I'm going to see MÖTLEY CRÜE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! rock3 rock3

    Enjoy your gig :)

As you know Scaramouche i am going to see Muse in November at Birmingham NIA. I really don't go to many gigs nowadays - since my kids were born-expenses and responsibilities have put that to rest! :(

  6. 12 year olds don't know any better. if you like muse, you don't know any better.

they're nothing but poor rip-offs of more interesting and much better artists. and i've heard everything they've ever done, so i know what i'm talking about: they started off by stealing radiohead's ideas and sound, to sounding what could best be described as a bad parody of themselves, to mindlessly wandering through prog-rock, which really is just about the worst genres of music there is. and fuck all that 'best live band' bullshit, for real.

I jsut have to wonder, is there any music you like? Almost every single thread I see you post in you go around bashing every band you possibly can. It seems like you have an agenda against anyone signed to a major label!

Yes, their first album was a Radiohead rip-off, I'll give you that. But Matt Bellamy is an amazing singer, guitar player, and pianist, and they've managed to create a sound that manages to stand out among a lot of other modern bands, even if they may not be the next unique Belgian acid jazz band.

    Nice 1 Chevelle!!

    :rofl-lol: :rofl-lol: :rofl-lol: :rofl-lol: -"have you ever heard the phrase-"up your own ass" :rofl-lol:

are you even trying in this thread?

Nope- not now a twat like you has come along............see ya

  8. w/e muse is music for 12 year olds.

why? I'm interested to know.. and want a good reason

Me too!! It sounds like this is a person who believes evreything they state to be fact-state your case for Muse being music for 12 year olds!!:rofl-lol:

It would be much easier to just admit it isn't your type of music and leave it there-instead of making grand OTT statements such as "music for 12 year olds and abuse such as "a dumb guy who likes Oasis"!! :rofl-lol:

    Teeny bopper band??????=MUSE.jpg

  9. Probably the most creative band ever, after the Beatles. Best live act in the world today.

this is probably the dumbest shit i've ever read. 95% of what the beatles did failed to push any of music's limits whatsoever.

and everybody knows muse is just a watered-down version of radiohead. but i guess i can expect shit this dumb from a guy who likes oasis.

I disagree with you Stacks on Decks- but of course personal taste comes into it-- Muse are what Radiohead would sound like with some umph!!! They could NEVER be classed as a watered down version :rofl-lol: -i guess if you are a Radiohead purist you would think otherwise.Muse's music is quite different, however both Thom Yorke and Matt Bellamy are musical geniuses in their own right.I love Radiohead, always have, but Muse blew me away with Blackholes and Revelations.

Any anyone that knows shit would know that aside from their first album Muse sound nothing like Radiohead

    Well said B)

  10. I hope they tour the U.S. - and that tickets don't sell out as fast as they did for this tour.

And supposedly the new album is going to have a three part symphony...it's probably going to be the most epic piece of music ever created by a modern rock band.

I am not sure about U.S dates-i am positive all the tickets have sold out to the stadium shows they are supporting U.2 at already, they are there at the moment doing those shows before coming to Europe. I don't think they were doing solo dates in the U.S

  11. Muse are on my to see list but really, I can't stand having to mad rush for tickets to see a band.

So unless I win some or know someone selling tickets for face value then I'll never see them.

Probably the most creative band ever, after the Beatles. Best live act in the world today.

Wether you like them or not, that title goes to Iron Maiden.

It was a mad rush alright-general sale sold out in 1o minutes-i am so glad i am had access to the pre sale. If you look on the muse forum they are selling tickets on there for really good prices. You would probably need to be a forum member for anyone to sell them to you though as they are selling them between forum members,it will be the only way to gat tickets reasonably. Ebay have them up for about £2oo each.

Muse live... gah, brilliant! Have to be the best live band today, at least of the newer bands. If you haven'd, you've to see the show from Wembley, H.A.A.R.P.

I have HAARP on dvd-it is out of this world-Matt Bellamy is a total genius-to watch him play thet guitar blows my mind rock3 , i love it when he gets up at the start and strikes up with knights of Cydonia-awesome. I really recommend people who haven't ,to see it too!!

  12. Muse- The Resistance tour-I'M GOING and i am soo excited i missed the Wembley gig,so i can't wait.I was saving the money for GnR but i have given up hope for this year.

I know Muse are playing tracks off their forthcoming album-The Resistance mixed up with old stuff.

I was lucky to get my block 2 tickets for Birmingham NIA using the presale but it was so stressful, just as i was losing hope i managed to get them seconds before the presale sold out-.The tickets are already going for stupid money on ebay an when they went on general sale on Friday they all sold out in minutes.

    Is anyone else going?

    Knights of Cydonia-I CAN'T WAIT!! rock3
