There's something about Ozzy's solos that make me tear up sometimes. Just Ozzy's live solos. Mostly on the Randy Rhodes Tribute album. It's kind of sad, but amazing stuff. Zakk's version reminds me of Randy. I guess it all relates to Randy Rhode's death. Everybody gets into it and both guitarists deliver hard, with their own unique twist. I slightly prefer Zakk over Rhodes, but that could change with mood swings.

I'm almost at the end of Disc 1 of Ozzy's double-disc LIVE + LOUD CD. I haven't listened to it in quite awhile. Sometimes Ozzy's songs with the sick guitar solos make me cry. Not full blown tears, but maybe one. When it gets all emotional (This is my last fuck'n concert, let me hear it!!!!!) and Zakk tears it up with the outro...man...emotional shit.

I just started getting into David Bowie recently. Amazing stuff. I like Ziggy Stardust and China Girl. I can see now how Mechanical Animals was influenced by Bowie. I can't believe he released stuff all the way back in 1969.

I have been living off the grid since 2005. I just logged into Buckethead's ToyStore and saw about 15 new BH albums. I'm a fan of the melodic albums (Unison, Population Override, Colma, Electric Tears, Etc.) I can't buy ALL these albums (10 X $15 a pop...) So I'm wondering if there are a few albums that you recommend or are exceptional. Any thoughts are appreciated. Anything that came out in late 2005, 2006, or 2007 is fair game. Thanks!

I like the way the pickups are spaced on the Ibenez...you can probably get more interesting sounds and configurations on it. Plus, if you modded it out, it would probably sound real nice. The other one is nice, but if I had to choose...go with Ibenez

I picked up Hysteria for $1.99 at Tower Records...the tape version. Damn..that album has some magic on it. So 80s...but so damn good! Not on the level of AFD...but a damn cool album

I hope Axl keeps his head on straight, and doesn't get caught up in this wave of emo music out there. I think it was the guy from Motely Crue that said that Axl was an "emo fag".....I hope he doesn't go soft on us. From what we've heard in 2001+2002, he sounds like he's gett'n a little soft to me.

I liked the solo, althought I thought it was a bit anti-climatic for my taste. Personally, I like the Buckethead-style one with the ruthless blinding-fast shred. Yours was good though. I give the song a B ["A"s are reserved for pro stuff only...but this was better than anything releasd in the last 5 years or so!]
