  1. As I said in my post earlier, shows are good for sure, but I'd just like to hear him do some Snakepit stuff.

I've only heard one Snakepit track live. Gilby played Monkey Chow both times I saw him live (I believe he wrote the track for Snakepit) and it was great to hear it both times (2006 and 2012).

They've put out a couple others since then.

Yeah I think Pirate Love was a B-Side to both NOLA and Like A Ghost.

But NOLA is definitely my fave track of the three.

I had their older albums on Vinyl and Power And The Glory Hole on CD, but recently I got their older stuff in a CD box set too.

Their 2009 live album is good too. 😎

Thought so. I have seen him play with them a couple of times. Once just a few weeks ago on the MORC cruise.  He is pretty solid.. Was just checking her wiki page and doesn't look like he plays on the record? Is that accurate?

Faster Pussycat are excellent. Saw them in 2017. I wish they'd put out another album. I liked their single NOLA from a couple of years back too. 🤘😎

  4. Okay so Snakepit (both albums) are my favourite work from Slash outside of his GN'R output.

That being said some of the songs on Chinese Democracy are amongst my absolute favourite from GN'R as a whole.

So for me I wouldn't rank them above GN'R material - but after GN'R stuff they do rank very highly for me.

Tbh I'd love to see a Snakepite reunion. That would be so high on my 'to see' list.

  5. Ohh yeah I knew Tracii had left previously too. That's kinda what I was saying.

I have heard material from his version and from Phil & Steve's version.

I like it all really. That's the good thing - more music for the listeners. 😄

Ohh and Tales From The Strip has some good tracks on. 😄

I saw Tracii and Phil's version of L.A. Guns a few years ago. Was a great show (was my first time seeing L.A. Guns live in any form).

  6. Riley's L.A. Guns could still continue - Kelly Nickels was a classic era member anyway.

The situation is a bit weird because the version of the band with Steve Riley was the one Phil Lewis was in. But he left that L.A. Guns to make another L.A. Guns with Tracii.

Previously Tracii had his own version that was around at the same time as the one with Phil and Steve in - and both released albums back then too - but Tracii stopped his version for a while until he and Phil made a version together.

Well folks, finally got my “Perhaps” vinyl today… luckily, no pixelation issues with the artwork, and both songs sound infinitely better on vinyl… including the now notorious “General.” :P

Still wondering what the original batch sounded like for them to can it, especially if “Monsters” was in there…

Wait, so there's variations in cover quality?

Can you share a picture of the covers on your copy?

Appreciate it so much. Thank you

Back Print is 3.1inches (or 2.7cm) tall on tallest letter - that being the 'g'.

Back print total width is 12.3inches or (30.9cm).

Front print total width is the same as the back print - 12.3inches (or 30.9cm).

Front print height at tallest point (i.e. top of robin's elbow down to bottom of the underline of the text is 3.3inches (or 8.1cm).

Hey, I’ve given up looking for this Finck tee haha. Could you do me a gigantic favor when you have time? Since it’s just white on black I’m gonna custom print it at the screen printing shop I work at. Would you give me the measurements of the front and back logos sometime?

Yeah, no problem. I'll take a look when I get a chance and I will let you know. 👍

It was officially released in terms of if being available on official streaming sites (Amazon Prime, if memory serves or possibly Netflix).

Never had an official physical release though.

The usually way now seems to be containing a DVD/Blu-Ray as part of a package containing the audio of the concert. I'd certainly buy that.

You're right. I purchased it digitally from Amazon.

Ashba would still be in the band, he left only when it was clear that Slash was returning to the band.

Maybe they would go back to 2 guitarists, Ashba and Fortus, and a new bassist. Imagine that.

I don't think that is actually true.

Ashba left because Sixx A.M. became active again and it looked like Nikki Sixx was gonna put big focus on Sixx A.M. at the time. Then not long after, Nikki disbanded Sixx A.M. So I think when later on he made contradictory statements about leaving because he knew Slash was coming back, I strongly believe he was saving face somewhat really. Because his original plan/reason for leaving didn't really pan out.
