How so? Popcorn Adler, who played on Appetite; Matty Sorum, Illusion! The omission of their autographs would actually look odd if the original poster had acquired Axl's and Izzy's as, they would be the only old band members missing!

Not profiting just looking to pass it on and gain back what I spent on it...then I can put the money into something that I would be more happy with.

The only reason I am offering this up for sale is because since becoming vegetarian about 2 years ago, I have gradually been getting rid of any leather stuff (this is pretty much the last thing) and as such no longer want the jacket (hoping to meet them all again at some point and get my denim one signed instead)...

...the jacket was signed by Slash, Duff and Matt at a Velvet Revolver meet n' greet at the O2 Academy in Newcastle - March 2008.

...it was then signed by Steven at an Adler's Appetite gig at The Duchess in York - February 2011.

...and then it was signed by Gilby at a solo concert of his at Bannerman's Bar in Edinburgh - February 2012.

(all signatures written with the same silver marker - which I would throw in with the jacket).

Also he seems gets a lot of negativity from some fans due to the fact him and Slash allegedly didn't get on.

But did you ever get to meet him and did you think he was a nice guy?

He certainly seems to have contributed a lot to Chinese both playing and writing. So I like what he has done within his role within the band.

I understand Slash didn't like the way things wnet down with the Sympathy... cover the band did,

But I think the cover is great and the way his and Paul's guitar's trade off in that solo section, is an undeniably cool effect.

Guitar solos are always cool, but I really like it when bands do twin leads or trade off solos too (Skynyrd and Thin Lizzy are great for that), and to an extent the current GN'R seems to do it a bit and it is cool.

Do you think it was because Axl still expected to be treated like one of the biggest names around whereas the music industry has long moved on from acts such as Guns N' Roses? Did Axl expect more funding from the record company to tour and make videos or were they being unreasonable with their demands and improper handling of Chinese Democracy release?

Because the fact is, taking so long to release 1 album hugely damaged his and band's reputation and in this case Slash cannot be blamed. As much as I think Slash was wrong when he said all the stupid things he said in the press, Axl still brought a lot of negativity upon himself.

A lot of the negativity about Axl, is purely perpuated by the media. They can either build someone up or try to tear them down, and who they choose to do that to seems totally random.

I think 'cause Axl doesn't really entertain the press (like he doesn't put up with their bullshit or try to court them to gain favour)...they just choose to portray him negatively.

That is my perception of things.

Yeah Slash might have said some stuff in the press (which is not really fair, he should have kept his mouth shut about their personal grievances with each other, as their friendship (or lack thereof) is their business), but let's face it, the press at the time completely baited him to say stuff, and they try to do it with all ex members and current ones.

My perception of this is that it actually makes the rift worse. I know from experience with my own fallouts, that when people try to get involved and push things, it often makes situations worse and burns bridges more rather than mending any fences.

That is probably one of the things that really made the issues a bigger deal for Axl though, because he pretty much never spoke ill of Slash publicly until Slash did so of him, and although Slash said things, the media definitely gave him encouragement to publicly vent.

The other issue, is that the press can print things out of context with everyone, so even though Slash probably did say some stuff he shouldn't have, the media will enhance it, print it in a way that makes it seem even worse and also focus on it as being the main point of the interview.

Anyone played Viking: Battle for Asgard or Beowulf. I'm always looking for them when I go to the shop but can't find them.

Viking is an awesome game. Highly recommend it, it is slower in pace, but the fighting is excellent. Storyline is cool too.

Also recommend Golden Axe: Beast Rider (if you liked the old golden axe, this is basically the same sort of deal ) - got bad reviews, but I really liked it.

And as Dazey says above, Bayonetta is a must buy.

I realise this but it was never officially announced, was it? I don't think there's any legal reason why Rock Fuel owes anyone money over this.

Some people just want to cause a fuss. Why not wait until is was actually available to purchase it if there was no interest in streaming it?

It was implied that purchasing the thing at that time, was the one surefire way to guarantee an Audio version to own.

Not trying to "cause a fuss", and all I did was say I agreed with others who were disappointed on it.

I aren't trying to claim my money back or anything, just expressed a bit of disappointment over it.

Overall I am happy with the bigger situation, we got an official GN'R live release featuring the current lineup - I bought both the DVD and Blu Ray versions. Not tested the Blu Ray yet, but the DVD is great.

All those bands are awesome (well, I haven't heard any bullet boys).

Tom Kiefer/Cinderella are epic.

Faster Pussycat are also amazing.

As for Quiet Riot, their current vocalist is Jizzy Pearl from Love/Hate (a brilliant and underrated band and he is an excellent singer).

Seen Gilby do his solo thing live twice and both shows were great.

I mean if people wanna play this on their iPods nand whatnot, then they need to be able to download the mp3s - simple as that really.

The only effective DRM prevents you from truely owning the products (such as the current streaming product)! And even then people could still record it or whatever.

I purchased the streaming version purely because of the promise of downloadable audio tracks for my mp3 player - and I wanted to own those. I have ordered both the Blue Ray and DVD also.

All of the bands mentioned are great and some are amongst my favourite bands

I personally recommend the song "Buckethead" by Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains - it is a fictional biography of Buckethead with Claypool on vocals, it is wierd, but the Solo by Bucket is epic.

Round that out with Rising Sun by Buckethead.

Funny, the credits to the songs: Robert John Finck, Darren Reed, Thomas Stinson, Saul Hudson, but Duff Rose McKagan (not Michael McKagan), Axl Rose (of course) and Izzy Stradlin (what's his name, Jeff Isbell or something). Is there a secret message ? I just think it's funny, to my knowledge, they haven't been credited like that before.

Some were credited with real names in the Greatest Hits compilation...

Warning to fans in the UK, if you have the app installed on your phone, do not use your mobile internet - stick to home/wifi only.

I topped up my phone with a tenner and this app working in the background, basically instantly drained my entire £10 worth of credit in minutes.

I know it was due to this app as it happened twice since I installed it last Saturday night. And it is the only thing different on my phone. I removed the app, because I have lost £20 credit thanks to it using stupid amounts of 3G data in the background.

Fuck knows what it is even doing, because I wasn't using it yesterday when I lost another £10 and I had made sure I fully closed it and it still happened.

Vince Neil was replaced for a Motley Crue album (the album was just called Motley Crue) by John Corabi. The stuff with him on sounds good.

Current singer in Journey is Arnek Pineda. Saw him live one year at Download, he was great.

Skid Row's current singer is Johnny Solinger. I like one of their songs with him on. I should listen to more Skid Row in general, I have only heard a few songs.

I also have no idea who replaced Richie Sambora...didn't realise he had permanently quit :S

I have bought region 1 DVDs before and they have played on my DVD player, which I never understood, as my DVD player is not region free.

If you put in your DVD player make and model number online and put something like 'unlock region'...

...you will find instructions along with a code that you can enter to unlock the player.

How well the dvd works after that, most likely depends on the capabilities of your TV.

I don't know if the same thing works for Blu Ray, but could be.

Is this gonna get an Official release outside of the US though? 'Cause if so you won't need to bother with any of the above, nor the hassle or charges of importing.

That said, if it doesn't get a release near me at around the same time as its initial launch, I will import rather than wait ages for it to hit different territories.

Jizzy Pearl is the singer of Love/Hate...

...he is one of my favourite singers and Love/Hate are great.

Jizzy was also the first singer in Adler's Appetite. Sang in Traci Guns' L.A. Guns for a while too.

Ron's contributions to CD are among my favourite parts. His solo and tapping on Shacklers brings the song to a whole other level - you know if Bucket did that solo he'd just mindlessly play a billion notes a second, at least Ron took the song and added to it, doing something different.

I also love his fretless work during the verses of Chinese, and his outro shredding on the final verse of Catcher is probably the best part of the entire album.

Like it or not, I think Ron is going to have a big presence on the next GNR album.

Interesting. The 3 songs you mention are my least listened to and therefore i'm not fussed about what Ron did to them. Twat, Sorry, Prostitute...that's my stuff. But you do make me feel less bothered about a lot of Ron on the next one.

Having never heard either Ron or Bucket before they joined Guns, i've got almost all the stuff they've ever done down to the really obscure stuff. My essential Bucket playlist of songs rated 4* or 5* runs to 89 songs. My Ron list runs to 13. I adore Bucket's melodic sensibility: his little signature notes you catch glimpses of in Twat, Nightrain, Coma. The Fairy and the Devil just blows me away. I've listendd to every Nightrain solo just to hear what he does each time and i've never heard one from Ron that, whilst technically great, just has no x-factor, if you will.

I agree that Buckethead's Nightrain solo is the best...however, the only thing with Bumble's Nightrain solo, is that it seems to get lost in the mix...it doesn't sound as clear or have as much presence in the overall live mix, it sounds semi-muted in comparison. I believe his solo is brilliant in its own right, just needs to be brought to the front of the mix a little so it can be heard more.
