besides the fact that calgary got rocket queen and liquour and whores...the edmonton show beat the fucking shit out of the calgary show

went to both edmonton and calgary shows, and edmonton was by far the better show, from acoustics to the way the setlist was put together, to energy through the fans, to the band. both great shows, but edmonton show totally beat the shit out of the calgary show.

was at the saddledome last night for the show. the sound at the saddledome, simply put blows. most of the show you could barley hear axls voice over the instrumental....great show nonetheless, but here's hoping for a better sound quality tonight at rexall place. rexall is known for this good acoustics

I was in 226, and it was brutal. i figured there had to be somewhere in the arena that sounded good. a buddy of mine was in 216, and he said it was crap sound there too. too much echoing, and the bass was totally over powering axls voice for 80% of the show. this I love, kohd, and patience were really the only songs where I could clearly hear axl.

Just was looking at ticketmaster.ca to check on show sales for the Edmonton Ab show, and I guess ticket master has released more GA floor tickets recently, if anyone is interested. I searched the maximum you are allowed to buy which is 8, and there was enough, so I imagine there is quite a few available, if you move quickly enough.

Im not really sure what Axl was thinking or who else invited him cuz' we all know that GNR is like biggest band in the world that doesnt even have proper web site, doesnt have good merch site, does not have official fun club anywhere cuz' they are not even trying to make some in countries around the world. Also GNR doesnt even update myspace,facebook or anything with photos from tour or anything like that.

If they thought to get all this by inviting Jarmo who is great fan nothin' else to add, but is not the right person for that job, then it's really fun.

I think he is invited cuz' he gived a lot of his life to support that band, thats well deserved.

Still it sucks on 2 different levels

1.He's is not sharing stuff he can share ''photos from concert'' not backstage, photos of maybe empty stadium or photos from anything interesting he see there and atr allowed to post. Not sending anything then update about setlist what we all know from other sources aswell.

2.GNR again proving their lackness of support to fans.

That is not how it works, did ACDC play the whole black ice album on the tour, and no classics? no, did the chili peppers play the whole stadium arcadium album on that tour, and no classics? no. It is always heavy classics, with a few new songs, and thats how it always will be. You probably have never been to a concert before, have you?

I really hope they go the same way with the setlist as they did in 06. heavy on the classic songs and like 5 CD songs. not the CD was a bad album, but lets face it, we go to see and hear the classics
