I'd pay a lot, more than $500 without a doubt, probably $1000

Very, very cool
*fingers crossed*

You don't sound bitter at all, that's really cool.I cannot wait for Axl to tweet out some shit and ruin everyone's hopes and dreams in less than 140 characters.

It's difficult to know which one would sell more tickets. It would be a close contest imo. In some areas Led Zep would sell more, but in other areas like South America GNR is untouchable (they could easily sell out 80'000 seats stadiums).I saw Guns during there peak in 1987 and again in 1988 and have never seen Led Zep, did see Plant/ Page, so even at their advanced age I would prefer to see them.
That being said for the 2007 reunion concert there were 20 million requests for only 20K tickets available in the online ticket lottery so anyone who thinks a GnR reunion would outsell a Led Zeppelin reunion is kidding themselves IMHO.

Yeah, Fortus always says the same.I wonder what he will say in 2016
"2017 will be a big year for GNR"
-
GNR hasn't been touring since 1993. Led Zep is more mythical and didn't tour for almost 40 years, that's why they're winning this little poll (it's close though). But GNR would generate more money.

Back in 1995, Axl thought classic hard rock was a dead end, he thought the GNR masses were going to follow him on the path of techno-industrial experiments a la Trent Reznor.... He was wrong. It would have been cool if he had done it as a solo project. GNR fans in general don't like indus music, they love hard rock, they love Slash. Hard rock is still alive nowadays, but nobody gives a damn about indus music anymore.CD era GN'R never existed. it was only Axl making experiments and milking the name with a backing band. it didn't work, it failed.
i'm truly sorry for the people who supported that travesty. you've been played.
Ironically though a lot of people were supporting it up until about 2011 when Axl became a fat purveyor of Vegas cheese and revealed the 'nugnr' experiment for all it was which was always a vacuous con trick basically. If Rose had put out four albums and was playing experimental setlists now, it would be a different story. I hate to say it but even I was carried along for awhile.

lmaoEven TB knows that reunion is the best thing to generate massive incomes. They know that reunion is good for everybody. That's an essential point from a managerial perspective.
Axl and Slash could never co-exist in a business relationship. They have both been Capaitn's of their respective ships for so long that returning to an equal partnership would be beyond both of them in "this lifetime".
axl's ship (fakegnr) is sinking and slash is touring in bars, i'm pretty sure they'll reach an agreement

Indeed.nugnr is over.
they can still tour as a cover band, but the project in itself is dead.
-
whoever the new guitarist is, all i can say is : FUCK OFF ! gnr fans want slash.

i don't give a shit about slash's solo work, and i don't give a shit about fakegnr, cd2 and axl's crap.
i'm only interested in a reunion of the original line-up.

lol cd2
nobody cares

guns n'roses > fakegnrHow the fuck is an 80s rock band getting back together relevant to 2014?
it's as simple as that

axl must do a new album with slash, izzy and duff, it's the only way to be relevant again.I don't think there's an argument that people don't wanna see Axl perform live anymore. But nobody really cares what he does or doesn't do creatively anymore. Not unless...you know

+1Chinese Democracy was a bad album and the last one Axl will ever release.
as the french say : "les carottes sont cuites". it's over.
nugnr can still tour, but it will never be successful in the charts.
-
yes, on their owns, but not under the gnr name, because they will never be gnr.
i think most of them are good musicians, and they deserve to put an album written on their owns.i think it's over. their last opportunity was cd.
i don't see how this line-up could be successful.
-
then amazon must be used to get sued.

That's interesting... John Murdy is creative director at Universal Studios. He worked with Slash recently...
