I owned this book by Joyce Kornbluh for 12 years until it was lost in a forest fire which destroyed everything we owned. This book was the one I most regretted losing. It is an incredible collection of history, songs, personal anecdotes, and commentary on the most radical workers movement ever seen in the United States. It is inspiring to those who continue to struggle against oppression and poverty. It is also fun to sing and play the songs (a CD with 22 songs is included in the French version featuring Sleepy John Estes, Joe Hill, T-Bone Slim, etc.).

The pictorial matter and music are especially revealing, and help illustrate the old adage that the government and bosses may have the money, guns and victories, but the workers have the best songs.

You sound like DJ when he talks about how these shows are gonna be something new and exciting that the fans haven't seen before and when he talks about new material and writing at least 10 songs for Guns and how Axl is so great and has so much up his sleeve. He sounds like a tool sayin this shit over and over again and you come off exactly the same way when you talk about how awesome GnR in 2014 is.

the problem with fortus is that at the age of almost 50, he still hasn't done anything original in his entire career. he's a session musician, not an artist who can create songs. he plays what he's told to play, and that's it.

1936 Guerra Civil (1936 civil war) is a card game in which each player plays one of the sides in the conflict, either the Republic or the Nationalists. A player must design his deck from the cards available for his side (a pool of over one hundred), with a minimum selection of 36 of them. Besides the cards belonging to one of the two sides, there are cards representing political and military objectives, for which the sides fight. Each objective gives victory points to the player who wins them. Victory can be achieved by military victory points, by political victory points, by a combination of the two of them or by the demoralization of the enemy.

The game is for two players, although some possible variants for four players are also provided.

There are different types of cards: objectives (political or military), characters, military units and management cards. Each side is made up of factions (ten factions for the Republic and eight factions for the Nationalists). A side may also benefit from having appointed a leader if certain conditions are met.

All cards have images from public Spanish archives and contain detailed historical information.

(A note on the language barrier: it's not as big as it seems. If your first language is French, Italian or Portuguese most game terms will be either the same or very similar. Even with English there are many easily understandable text parts. Additionally, all game text and rules are available to download in French and English from the game's website).

The game was slowly developed between 2000 and 2006 and it was finally self-published by the author himself through Ediciones Rotura as a limited and numbered edition of 1936 copies, being released in Madrid on December 29, 2006.

no, i wouldn't buy a new album because i don't like what axl is doing with the gnr brand.

he should have chosen another name for his solo band.

moreover, i dont think his current line-up can write and record good music.

the demand for a new nugnr album is not important enough. moreover, the casual fans who are the majority at nugnr concerts are more interested in listening to afd and uyi songs than new material, which is understandable. the glory days have much more appeal than the current situation.

most of the cd songs aren't played at the shows, so why would axl release a new album that will be ignored by most of gnr fans?
