I was at the show, Axl never said what you reported about Oasis, it's not on the bootlegs either. It's a lie - quite simply. Grow up you big baby.

On the Oasis Definately Maybe dvd there is a performance from Chicago in 1994 and Axl is actually sitting just next to Noel's Marshall stack smoking and enjoying the tunes. There was also a more recent Noel interview where someone asked him about Chi Dem and he said something along the lines of "Something that mental can't possibly be anything but brilliant." I used to have a picture of Axl and Liam hanging out back in 2002 aswell.

Can't find the photo. Had one on my old laptop. It's Axl & Liam in what I'm guessing is some club. It was in 2002/3 as Axl had the Predator type braids and I can remember first seeing the picture around that time.

anyway, i love all of the GnR CDs as well as VR.
i only wanted to know the answer to the original post.
i know a CD tour should play music from CD. but they usually play more songs then just the new ones.
so why is it a crime for me to ask why great songs like civil war, estranged, coma,.... i could name over 20 songs!
anyway, thank you to the people who answered my question.
i know axl has spent time in court over GnR rights or songs and just wanted to know if it was his choice or not to have more UYI fillers during concerts.
you may now continue to debate whose better out of all the original members and new members and new retired or fired members while i listen to and enjoy ALL their music!

what the fuck! he just said he enjoys all their music! just read before insulting a guy. plus I really think that between chinese songs he could put a lot more illusions. easy, brownstone, michelle , outta get me etc are songs that he could 'sometimes'' replace with lets say perfect crime, pretty tied up, dont cry, estranged, so fine etc... he acts like he only wrote apetite and that use your illusion are 4 songs including 2 covers...

Yes they could. You guys act like UYI is untouchable and impossible. It's a mediocre album with a few great songs.Wasn't it Ron hitting the Estranged solo last tour or am I mistaken? I would honestly rather hear T.W.A.T Than Estranged any day. Chinese Democracy is better!

As far as I'm aware there is a mutual respect between Axl and the Gallaghers. I've seen it a few times where they've talked positively about each other. Axl is a fan of theirs and I'm sure I remember a Noel interview where he mentioned that Liam used to play Appetite all the time not long after it came out. i became a huge loyal GnR fan after listening to UYI 1 & 2, these albums brought me to AFD and lies and of course CD.
is there a legal reason or he just doesn't want to play these songs live in concert?

Metallica did a great interview with Rede Globo and spent a day running with Porsches in the Interlagos Speedway in São Paulo, they weren't THAT busy, that had some free time.
the same happened in Venezuela, they were promoting their tour here, visiting music stores,talkin' to fans,visiting radios n' tv channels, they were very nice to Venezuelans fans,something good that another band did not!
