  1. BETTER

the band sitting in some sort of american idol type setting with all kinds of singers coming in to audition for them (cameos of other rockstars possible here) and then at the end axl comes in and they all look at each other like ok lets go with this guy. an extra scene could show how they sit together and talk about how "you can't call this guns n' roses".

  2. Only four Chinese Democracy songs. lolz. Other than that, I don't think people should really be complaining. The standard length of time for a concert or show is about 90 minutes. You can't expect Guns to go on and put in twice that every night.

If you just count the actual songs and take away the solo spots (Dizzy, Ashba, 4tus, Bumble) last nights show was less than 90 minutes.

And on the solo spots, there was some other band playing on stage, that's why you don't count them?

And how many of the people attending a Guns N' Roses concert do that to see Bumble perform Pink Panther? Everyone goes to see Axl and it's a FACT he was OFF STAGE for 1/4 of yesterday's showtime. 15 songs were played, two of them covers. That's 13 original songs. For some band that's about a non-headlining festival job in the afternoon. For Bruce Springsteen or Pearl Jam that's an extended soundcheck.

  4. I woke up this morning and Guns N' Roses sucked because the majority of their fans turned into masochistic little pussys. HE FUCKS YOU IN THE ASS AND YOU LIKE IT?? Some of the fanboy shit I read here is just unbelieveable. You should booooooooooooooo the shit out of this band and rightly so! All you ass kissers make me sick. If you go on with your stupid "Axl doesn't owe us" mantra you will end up paying 200 dollars and travelling 500 miles for a lip-sync 70 minute show. If that's what you want when could have the greatest band on earth good for you. BUT I WILL NOT LET THAT STAND UNBITCHED! What would one single special or not so often played song (Yesterdays, Riad, OMG) or a single different arrangement (acoustic, streched jam part) have cost him last night? Just 5 minutes and being actually into it rather than putting on a show. Is that really asking too much? I don't think anything is expecting or demanding a setlist as great as Springsteen or Pearl Jam. But their fans undeniably get much more bang for their bucks. The thing is if the band comes to your country like once in 10 or 15 years - wich is the case in South America and continental Europe - then getting a 2hr business-as-usual show is unworthy for a band called Guns N' Roses and their most loyal and passionate fans. Period. Axl claims the crown of this so he must live up to the standards he himself and no one else has set or else live with complaints. Put your Twitter bullshit where the sun dont shine and let the music do the talking man.

    ?

That's 16 actual songs, two of them covers.

What's next, a soundcheck with pyros?

Makes me think what's better calling in sick or putting on a half ass business-as-usual show?

  7. I would love to see the entire album Chinese Democracy being performed each night but then again so many great songs from UYI have not been played since 1993.

Bumbledude already teased us with some Estranged and I can imagine DJ totally rippin' through Breakdown with Axl on top of the piano and all.

So maybe throwing in one or two more songs from UYI won't hurt.

If you could pick 3 songs from UYI that have not been played on this tour - what would be your choices?

  8. Add Breakdown and an unheard new song you have the best GNR setlist ever.

    but then again...

that show would last what 5 hours?

    lol...

nothing wrong with the setlist though

    bring it on! :xmassrudolph:
