  1. We have 60 computers through an internet router, the voting system counts only 1 out of 60 routed network. How to fix this?

You can only vote once an hour per IP address

    Everyone go proxy!!

All 60 MacPro is configured as such:

The Router has an IP: 192.167.2.1

    Configure IPv4: Using DHCP

    My station IP: 192.167.2.184

    https://dl.dropbox.c...5/GNR/proxy.jpg

How to setup the proxy based on our network settings without informing our IT group?

you could use a program called Hotspot Shield, if you turn it off and on again and it changes the ip adress

    Thanks! :tongue2:

  3. Why are you doing this? Voting more than once renders the whole poll obsolete. It turns it into merely a 'geek war'. I mean Rose is not going to personally suck your dick if you vote five hundred times. What is the purpose?

Simply because it's a given, there's a rule like in a boxing if you will. You can punch all the way you want anywhere you want but below the belt. There's a rule here that vote counts once every hour or 0.01% per vote having an average of one person to have 8 (0.08%) votes per day. What's the big deal?

Our 60 employees would like to vote because they're fans of GNR. What's wrong with that?

It's fun voting, it's good to see your favorite band tops the chart, surveys and social media trending. It's good to know that more fans are getting into GNR music and counting.

Fans who voted RS, LedZep, Beatles and anti-GNR fans are now in one against GNR. Nothing to lose after beating the giants. :takethat:

  5. Sometimes I wonder why I come here. Many of you are just musically illiterate. The beatles were the best. They have like over 5 amazing albums in the span of less then ten years. They were crucial in making the album a staple, not just singles with filler. There evolution is unmatched even to this day doing things as different as help, a day in the life, happiness is a warm gun, I want you, back in the ussr..... They have so many good songs and good albums. Gnr have three good full albums and one ep, magical mystery tour just destroys lies. Illusions had more filler than anything they beatles made past rubber soul. The beatles did it all right. They were super famous but decided not to tour to focus on music, which is when they got really good. Axl has done the exact opposite.

I've been seeing GNR live in concerts, I've been listening to their music for years while the Beatles I don't. Am I musically illiterate if I vote the band I love?

Should I buy Beatles' album because they were the best? NO. Should I get dressed like 60's because they're the best? NO. Let's be realistic and voting is fun. rock3

  6. The Beatles will never die. Their music changed the lives of millions and influenced pretty much the majority of the bands that came after them. Was kinda a hard choice for me, but I voted GN'R as I'm listening to them more than I am The Beatles atm.

  7. All right people, 99% are saying Beatles are the best and made history.

There's no questions about it, but I haven't listened to Beatles ever since I was born in this world. I've been listening to ChiDem since 2008 and beginning to listen more from their classic albums. Is it a sin or being foolish to vote GNR whom I loved the most?

That said, this survey poll should've never been started or RS, LedZep and Beatles should've been exempted. But still there are open-minded people around who know what trend means.

If GNR wins, I wish Axl will say: "The Beatles are the real deal and the real champion, I'll denounce the throne winning this game. UCR is all bullshit that leads millions of fans voting us blah blah blah..."

Wait..... the game is not over yet. Rush has the biggest fans-club according to other sources.

    GNR rock3

Sweetheart, in the polI GNR is winning, as they should be, don't know where you're getting your 99% of the people from. And NO, Axl shouldn't hand any credit to the Beatles, and add to their already unjustified, unmerited, overrated credentials. AXL AND GNR ARE THE REAL DEAL. rock3

Honey, I'm just exaggerating the figure expressing that facts, numbers and history don't dictate my taste in music.

Beatles sold of 2.3+ Billion albums, GNR sold 100+M. So Beatles got more or less 95% higher compared to GNR.

Again, these figures don't deprive me of my voting right for GNR.

    Here's another story:

I've seen The Beatles last November in Las Vegas and they've rocked the house with their hit song 'Live and Let Die'.

Oh sorry, it wasn't Beatles my Mom said it's GNR. You see, old bands to include GNR confuses me. I don't need history, I need a rock n' roll music.

  8. All right people, 99% are saying Beatles are the best and made history.

  9. Do they win a free record deal if they win the poll?

More headlining concerts, tour sponsorship, selling more GNR catalogs, etc.

Nothing to lose, win or lose just have fun.

If GNR wins, millions of the new generation will discover that Slash and the classic line-up were once the Biggest Band in the world.

  10. I was reading the comments at the bottom and it's hilarious that many thought the result was fixed (the word 'fishy' was used many times) as they couldn't believe how GNR made this far. Bet they would go beserk if they knew there are forums on the Net where GNR is the everyday topic.

Shows how some thought GNR is dead and nobody gives a rat about it.

LOL they don't even apply simple logic as said below.

I don't see a small group voting on this poll. Each person can vote .01% every hour or a dork's average of .08% each day. Simple math and analysis.

As mentioned earlier, GNR has huge FB followers, Top Charts on Billboard, tops trending news, winning survey polls by you called small groups, etc.

  11. "Paid tribute"? Haha. Is that what it's called when you take other people's music and don't credit them?

Led Zeppelin were plagiarists. Talented musicians? Absolutely. But in the words of Nikki Sixx, "Jimmy Page never heard a riff he didn't steal."

    The end.

I'm glad Gn"R are beating them in this poll right now and angering all these diehard Led Zep fans.

  12. Only two tracks from Zeppelin's self-titled debut album were 100% original creations, as far as the world knows - that's the opening track "Good Times, Bad Times" and "Your Time Is Gonna Come". All the others are a mish-mash of older tracks written by musicians who were too poor to fight the might of Zeppelin's lawyers.

GNR is on Billboard Top #104 this week and GH has been 259 weeks on Top 200 Albums. Hence, there are more fans out there who followed GNR than we think we're the only ones here (199 members?)

    Edit:

It's a fun to vote but it's funnier seeing GNR-fans unhappy winning the poll.

    GNR-fans unhappy winning the poll.

LOL this is true to those who hurt so much seeing GNR on top.

Being a fan does n`t mean that you have to be a brainless and blind fanboy not to realize that Led Zeppelin kills Guns N`Roses in every way possible

    Led Zeppelin Chronic Plagiarism

Stairway to Heaven is copied too?

Above said, Slash is way better than Page.

  13. lol, this shit is amazing, even if some people think that the gnr fanbase sucks, look what we can do when we work together: beat the stones and led-zep fans.

Yeah, that's got a little more to do with a tiny minority of nerds on here spending all day voting over and over again.

It's Greatest HIts so I'm not surprised.

So winning the poll is not a big surprise, GNR is on top form from selling GH album, Yahoo top trending, Worldwide news, millions of FB followers... etc. No need a calculator to prove that they're on top 2013 among the classic bands.

  14. This site is more on Axl and nuGNR's haters. It is also a site where you can find lots of Slash news and promotions. No wonder current GNR won't support it.

I just hope to find new GNR line-up website.
